Song: ilomilo by Billie Eilish

May 7

The group had just rolled up to where they believe Stanley is being held captive. It just so happens to be a heavily guarded prison, though that shouldn't be a problem for the group. Actually, yes it's a huge problem for the group. Considering Stanley was one of their most powerful forces and Beverly still hasn't made any signs of waking up any time soon. And if they hardly made it out of the last battle, none can imagine what this might mean.

They'd discussed plan after plan after plan, but no one ever agreed. At this point they'll most likely wing it, but if they wing it will they win? If Bill's being honest with himself, he doesn't care if any of these idiots make it out. As long as he has his Stanley back. Maybe it's a morbid and twisted way of thinking, but he won't lie. Stanley is everything. No one else, nothing else, compares.

Currently the group is parked a block away, trying not to cause more attention than they're already about to. Ben's made it his duty to stay and protect Beverly while the rest head inside, but that's about as far as they've gotten with things. Now they just argue about which idea is the best, but none can come to an agreement.

But then a small voice speaks up and everyone goes silent as they turn to the youngest boy. "I've been working on my powers and I think I might have an idea."

Richie smiles encouragingly, while Mike rolls his eyes. The rest just listen on with eager ears. Even Bill will take anything at this point. As long is it gets Stanley the hell out of there.

"Well I just discovered in the last battle that I don't necessarily have to touch or even aim it to infect my victim." The boy rocks on the back of his heels.

"What does that entail?" Bill crosses his arms, genuinely curious.

"Here, watch." The boy takes a couple steps away before getting down on both knees and palming the floor. Green smoke travels from his hands, levitating slightly and spreading throughout the entire area.

The group looks down as the smoke attacks their ankles before crawling up the rest of their skin. They try to shrug it off and pat it away, but it stays and continues to spread. Greta swats and squeals, but it only gets worse. That is until Eddie wrings it all back in. The small boy then travels back to the group, placing his hands over them all and healing their wounds. "I've been trying to figure out how to heal without touching, but no success yet."

"Wait, what exactly will you do with that? What's the plan?" Mike seems more interested now too.

"Well I thought that maybe if I stood outside the main entrance I could pass my powers underneath the door. That would cause a distraction, as well as harming everyone nearby. It would also allow us easy access inside after everyone is down. Then we'd split up to find Stanley faster." Despite sounding more mature than usual, the boy still twirls around while explaining the big plan.

"That actually might work. Which means we need groups to split up in. I'll go with Eddie and Richie. Greta, Mike, Syd, and Stan will be our number two. Got it?" Bill looks to each of them, who seem to be onboard.

"And what about when we're inside? What comes next?" Greta questions as the seven of them make their way outside.

Bill only shrugs. He's not exactly confident in the plan, but it's better than just sitting still and arguing for another hour. "We wing it."

It doesn't take long for the group to get there. Soon Eddie is strutting up and doing the same thing he'd just done minutes before. Seconds later they hear the screams and thuds of bodies hitting floors. The group wait around for another sign of danger before entering the building.
