Jailyn~

Once the ten thousand notifications finish coming through, I start sorting through them with nothing better to do during our four-hour layover in Heathrow. The private lounge is a very nice splurge, if it can even really be called that for either of us at this point. Leaning my head on Christians shoulder, he wraps his arm around me as I lounge out on the couch. Champagne in one hand, scrolling through my notifications with the other, it's crazy that this is just something I can do during a layover now.

Chuckling to myself, I hold my phone up to show Christian the first notification that earns any immediate attention from me. "Cody Bellinger: Hook me up with your girl Carly's number?" The addition of two eyes emojis, accompanied by the 1:13 am timestamp, tells a story all on its own.

"That's funny,"Christian comments before letting out a small chuckle at the thoughts, "They'd be fun."

"Yeah," I reply, with a small laugh to myself. "She'd eat him up."

"He's a big boy; he can handle it," Christian jokes, making me laugh. "Is she still seeing that one guy?"

"Honestly, I have no idea. It was never anything serious from what I've heard, mostly just hooking up if anything." Screenshotting the message, I open the conversation with Carly and send it her way.

After it's sent, I head back into Cody's chat, "LMAO, If she's down for it, sure."

The message barely says delivered before my FaceTime tone goes off, and Cody's name is across the screen. "Aye, Yelis!" He says as soon as the video connects ,"Where've you been?"

"Seychelles, finally getting our honeymoon," I answer.

"Nice," Cody replies, nodding with a small smirk, "We getting a mini?"

"Absolutely not," I say, shutting it down quickly with a small laugh. "Not even a conversation for at least four more years, if even."

"Alright, I got it," He says, holding a hand up in defense as he chuckles. "When'd you guys leave? I texted you like a week ago."

"Two weeks ago," Christian answers, tilting my phone up to catch more of him in the frame. "Basically, as soon as we were able to, we left."

Cody nods, "Why are you coming back so soon? If I were you, I'd have stayed for at least a month."

"My season starts in five weeks," I comment, "That and the sentencing hearing is in two days."

"Damn, what time are you getting home?"

Looking up at Christian, he's got our itinerary down a little better than I do, "Outside of any delays, like eleven thirty tonight."

"You guys making it out this way at all?"

"Yeah," Christian confirms, "As of right now, we plan on getting back to Malibu at the end of this week."

"Damn, that's a quick turnaround, just a week?"

"If everything works out, yeah," Christian confirms, "The current plan is we'll head to Oklahoma City, then on February twenty-first."

"I am not jealous of your schedules," Cody jokes.

"Yet here you are, trying to get with Carly," I tease. With a small shrug, Cody tilts his head to the side. "I'll add her to the FaceTime."

Pulling in Carly, we wait for her to answer. After a couple of rings, she pops in a moment before her phone is dropped, and we're looking at a ceiling fan. "Bitch you could have warned me, I'd have at least put a shirt on."

None of us can hold our laughter as I reply, "I wasn't expecting you to be shirtless."

"You say that as if I haven't answered without one before," She comments before picking the phone back up.
