The other side of the story

School started once more and (Y/N) had his usual morning routine with a plan in place. Today's the day that he will get some information from the mind of Shido Itsuka.

The morning was lively with students talking to their friends about various topics. (Y/N) locked on his target until he felt a familiar energy, it was the same Spirit girl from yesterday. (Y/N) paused his movements and looked towards the direction to see a crowd blocking his sight.

(Y/N) thought though and for once both sides of his mind agreed but for different reasons. The more reasonable side had an obvious reason to because it would be foolish to attack someone while there was innocent people around. The hostile side's reason, however, was because she was too weak to put up a good fight, it wouldn't be entertaining.

(Y/N) went to his seat as usual to take a seat and then looked at his target, Shido Itsuka.

I have to knock him out with out making any suspicion. (Y/N) was thinking. I got! I will make a ki blast that is as small as a dust particle, shoot it to a pressure point at his neck to knock Shido out.

Satisfied with his plan, (Y/N) looked to the front of the class where Tamae-Sensei was introducing a new student.

Though the new student wasn't in the room yet, (Y/N) could feel the energy of this person. He frowned at where the energy was coming from, he knew this signature very well.

The student stepped into the classroom and wrote her name on the blackboard. She then turned to face the class and introduced herself.

"Hello, my name is Tohka Yatogami, nice to meet you," Tohka said. She bowed down the stood up. Every boy, except (Y/N) and Shido, gawked at her for her astonishing beauty and features. (Y/N) stared at her, the same girl that was the Spirit on April 10th and yesterday.

Tohka then spotted Shido, her eyes lit up with excitement as she rushed towards Shido and practically hug tackled him. Shido's chair went to the point of no return and fell over with Tohka still hugging Shido.

Great, now I have something else to worry about other that the public. (Y/N) thought.

[Time Skip]

(Y/N) had to rethink the time he had to initiate the plan. The girl now known as Tohka Yatogami, was a beacon of attention wherever she was, unfortunately one of the places she hung out most was right next to Shido.

(Y/N) had decided on a new time, in the middle of class. This was very risky as there is a lot of people around, but this was still doable with the desired results. (Y/N) just hoped that Tohka or anyone would be suspicious.

He eyed his target, (Y/N) planned to shoot an invisible beam of energy at the base line of Shido's skull. This would occur when Shido stands up to seem he stood up too fast.

"Itsuka-kun, could you stand up please," Tamae-Sensei requested.

"Yes Sensei." Shido replied.

Now!

(Y/N) pointed a finger at the target. Non-visible energy shot out of the finger, closing in on it's target. The beam hit it's mark, ki going to Shido's brain got blocked, knocking him out.

Success. (Y/N) thought.

Shido's body fell to the floor, everyone began to freak out.

"Shido!" Tohka cried out.

"Wait, everyone calm down." (Y/N) said.

He put two fingers at Shido's neck to check for a pulse, after that he checked if Shido was still breathing.

"He's alive, I'll take him to the nurse." (Y/N) declared.

"No, I'll take him."

(Y/N) looked at the direction of the voice to see a white haired girl. The girl looked at him with a monotone expression and even spoke in the same style as her expression, cold, unfeeling, and emotionless.

"Hey, I'll take him, not you!" Tohka yelled out.

"You are not a good option, there is the possibility that you could drop him." The white haired girl responded.

"Well you wouldn't be able to even lift him!" Tohka countered.

While the two girls continued arguing (Y/N) thought of the situation at hand. So...Shido has to deal with this, I kinda feel bad for knocking him out like that. (Y/N) thought.

"Hey, how about the 3 of us take him, I carry him and you guys can be escorts in case if something goes wrong." (Y/N) proposed.

The girls thought of it and eventually agreed to it. Hesitantly at first, but knowing they would be present if anything went wrong.

"Alright, I guess it's settled then, let's go."

(Y/N) picked up Shido princess bridal style, with his hand on his head to read his mind on the way.

"Why are you carrying him like that?" The white haired girl asked.

"Welll, it is more comfortable and easier to carry Shido this way." (Y/N) answered.

"I see."

The way to the nurse was very nerve wrecking to (Y/N) and a bit embarrassing. Both Tohka and the white haired girl, gave glares to each other and himself, these glares are not the ones that say 'I hate you' or something like that, these are the 'I will kill you and dance on your grave if you make a wrong move' type of glare.

The fact that (Y/N) had to carry a guy instead of a girl in the style of carrying made this embarrassing and nerve wracking. Usually, princess bridal style carries are used to carry women that you love, and (Y/N) didn't want to be assumed as a gay.

During the trip, (Y/N) did learn a few things from Shido's mind however. A lot was review but he had seen the other side of story.

The Spirits cause the space quakes unconsciously when they cross into this world whenever they want to or not. There is this organization named Ratatoskr that saves Spirits by sealing their powers using Shido.

Though there was this much information, some of Shido's memories were blocked due to amnesia. (Y/N) had seen enough, he was satisfied with the information.

They had arrived at the nurse's office and placed Shido on one of the beds. The nurse would check on Shido in a few minutes so he was fine. Tohka wanted to stay with Shido which was fine with (Y/N).

"Well my work here is done, I'll be taking my leave." (Y/N) said.

As he was walking down the hallway, a voice called him.

"Hey, you."

(Y/N) turned around to see the white haired girl who escorted him along with Shido to the nurse.

"What did you do to Shido?" She asked.
