Reine POV
"Interesting," Reine said as she looked into the microscope.
While (Y/N) was unconscious she took a few blood samples from his body to further analyze his bodily functions. She had been running tests on the cells with viruses, chemicals, and comparing cell behavior.
Interestingly, the cells that survived and were near death had become stronger to overcome what killed them. Reine found it fascinating how this worked, this adaptation was certainly advantageous in long term survival. The cells were also highly aggressive towards unfamiliar cells and bacteria, all cells would exhibit this behavior even if they are not meant to fight.
Somehow, this type of behavior reminds me of something, why is that. Reine thought.
"So, have you seen anything else?"
Reine turned around to face the speaker.
"Sorry for interrupting." Kotori apologized.
"No, it's fine, come look at this," Reine said in her usual sleepy tone.
Kotori walked over to the microscope to have a look. Through the microscope, there was a small group of blood cells fighting off multiple viruses at once. In addition, the cells were also attacking human cells with unrelenting force.
"Reine what am I looking at?" Kotori asked.
"What are you are looking at is (Y/N)'s cells, currently those cells are immune to bubonic plague, Ebola, Malaria, Yellow fever, Chagas disease, and multiple SARS viruses due to them being exposed to those viruses and being nursed back to health after surviving, however, they are highly aggressive towards unfamiliar cells," Reine explained.
"Impressive, so, do you have any records on what (Y/N) could be?" Kotori asked.
"Unfortunately, I was able to find only a sighting from DEM Industries of a monkey tailed individual with black spikey hair, the only difference that this one could change hair color, more specifically blond, and was only defeated by Ellen Mira Mathers," Reine said.
"Well did DEM at least put a name for the species?" Kotori asked.
"No."
"Well then, what should we call them?"
"Well, I have been thinking for a while and I have decided on something," Reine said.
"So what is it?" Kotori asked.
"Saiyan." Reine said.
"Doesn't that translate to wild vegetable man" Kotori pointed out.
"The one that DEM sighted was wild in terms of combat and his name was a vegetable pun." Reine reasoned.
"Very well then, what shall we do about (Y/N)..."
Meanwhile with (Y/N)
"Did you go through everything in my mind!?" Shido asked in a panicked state.
Shido had (Y/N) by the shoulders, slightly shaking him in a panic. (Y/N), understandably was in a nervous state.
"W-well I did."
Shido paled and froze.
"Got to say you do come up with a few interesting attack ideas." (Y/N) complemented, attempting to calm Shido down.
Shido let go, walked over to a corner, and laid down and cried.
"Hey, Shido are you ok?" (Y/N) asked.
"No, anything but reveling my dark past." Shido mumbled.
"Oh great now you broke him."
(Y/N) looked towards the door to see Kotori looking at him with a lollipop in her mouth.
Oh shit gotta run. (Y/N) thought.
"Don't worry, I am not going to inflict harm on you...for now." Kotori said, before (Y/N) could jump out of the bed.
(Y/N) stayed where he was, a bit more relaxed.
"As of today, you will become the newest member of Ratatoskr, (Y/N) (L/N)." Kotori declared.
"Huh?"
"You heard me, as of now you are now part of Ratatoskr, you know too much for us to let you go so might as well get you to join." Kotori explained.
This organization has no problems hiring minors I mean I am 15 and Kotori is like 13 but then again what will happen if I don't join, my motives and goals are different than the AST so this organization is a better fit for me. (Y/N) thought.
"Sure, why not?" (Y/N) said.
"Now that it's settled, I'll show you where you will be training." Kotori said as she walked away.
Wait...training?
(Y/N)'s eyes lit up with excitement.
"Really, is it combat training!?" (Y/N) asked with excitement.
"Well...that is some of the things you will be exercising." Kotori stated.
"What will you use, drones, magically enhanced rooms with adjustable gravity, ki manipulating machines-"
"Be quiet you are getting on my nerves!" Kotori said sternly.
(Y/N) reeled back as to get some distance from the agitated girl.
"You will be doing some of the things you mentioned but you will be working on other subjects."Kotori explained."In other words you will be learning how to flirt and deal with girls."
(Y/N) dropped his shoulders in disappointment.
Really, that will be part of my training but that isn't really important. (Y/N) thought to himself.
"Oh quit whining, you will calm down the Spirits after they are sealed when Shido isn't available." Kotori explained.
"Yes Commander." (Y/N) said in a depressed tone.
"Hey, you could get laid some day." Kotori tried to reason.
"Never wanted to sacrifice my freedom to be married." (Y/N) said.
"Well that will be part of your training whenever you like it or not." Kotori said.
(Y/N) followed Kotori with his shoulders hanging.
Meanwhile at the (L/N) residence
Tome had opened the cabinet to reveal the stashed away food from the other day. Tome grabbed the bag with her mouth and dragged it towards the living room.
Once there, Tome unsheathed her claws and tore open the bag. She then dug her face in the bag and began to eat to her heart's content.
Once finished, she got up on the couch and waited for her master to return.
