Lost

Klein was looking at me. Curiosity is evident in his eyes. Dahan dahan ay tinatanggal ko ang kumot na nakatabon sa aming dalawa ni Klein.

"Mommy you're ba-" agad na tinakpan ni Mommy ang bibig ko kaya nanlaki ang mga mata ni Klein. Naaaninag ko na siya ngayon dahil sa kaunting liwanag na hatid ng lampshade sa gilid ng kama.

"Hush Allen, they might get awake." Mom whispered then I nodded.

Mukang nagulat si Mom sa presensya ni Klein pero nginitian niya lang ito at hinimas ang buhok. Nakita ko ang oag gaan ng tingin ni Klein kay Mommy at ang pag ngiti rin niya dito.

"So you're Noreen's youngest." tumango si Klein. Umupo si Mom sa edge ng kama sa tapat ko pero ang tingin niya ay nasa kay Klein lang. "I want you to make a promise." kumunot ang noo ko.

"Me and Allen is going to a vacation. It's a surprise for her birthday. But you know we're going too far from this mansion that's why I'm here very early." Klein and I nodded as Mom continued her explanations. "Dear, I want you to keep quiet. Tell everyone that you don't know anything. Tell everyone that you didn't see me alright?" nag aalangang tumango si Klein.

"But it's bad to tell lies." he pouted.

"No dear, if you do it, I will get you with us. There's so many pools in there and a large ground to play on with so many toys. You'll eventually be there with Allen if you behave understand?" nginitian ko si Klein dahil gusto ko rin siyang makasama don sa sinasabi ni Mom na may madaming pool at laruan

Mom packed my things without building any noise. Klein jump out of bed to get his iPod.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Let's take pictures. Your Mom said it'll be a vacation so you'll be gone for quite some time. I'm gonna miss you Allen." he whispered. I held his iPod and we take so many pictures.

"Please behave Klein. Para makasunod ka samin ni Mom. I'm gonna miss you too." I kissed his cheek and he hugged me.

We left Klein in my room as we slowly went outside. I was curious why my Mom needs to take this as a secret. Pero dahil Mom ko naman siya ay hindi na ko nag isip pa ng masamang bagay.

Sumakay kami sa hindi pamilyar na SUV. Dumaan ang kalituhan sakin nang bumaba si Mom para buksan ang gate na daanan namin.

Nasaan ang bantay?

As we passed by, nakita kong natutulog ang dalawang guard sa guard house. That's when I started to feel a little nervous.

"Mom, where are we going?" I asked but she just glanced at me and continued driving. Sa haba ng byahe ay hindi ki namalayang nakatulog na ako. Pag gising ko'y wala na ako sa SUV!

I was sitted in a soft chair. It was like a passenger chairs in some vehicles like bus and van.I stand up. Nang makatayo ay nakita ko ang dami ng tao at ng mga upuan na katulad ng inuupuan ko. Hinubad ko ang jacket ko dahil sa init at hinanap ang backpack ko. Pero hindi ko pa ito nabubuksan ay nakita ko ang kakaibang tanawin sa bintana.

The hell where is my Mom?! And why am I in the middle of the water?! I saw nothing in my sight but water! I was with so mang people that I didn't know! And I don't know where is my Mom!

I trembled as the tears suddenly rolled down my face.

"Mom?!" pinag titinginan ako ng mga tao nang makitang humihikbi ako.

"Mommy?!"

"Where are you!?" tumayo ako sa upuan at nililibot ang mga mata. Pero wala ni isang kamukha ni Mommy doon!
