"Emma! Ray! Norman! Where are 'ya?!" Remember the reason why Eraserhead kept visiting us? Yeah, those three are one of the two reasons. Those orange, black and white kittens that we picked up on the street are the main reason why he's here sometimes.

"Meow!" Ahh, there's my little angels.

Those three were just abandoned in a tiny box in the middle of the street on winter. My poor little angelic heart couldn't take their little mewls as they gazed at my eyes with large kitty eyes.

"Kiddo! Uraraka is here! I'm leavin' now!"

Today, Raka-chan called me for training or some hang out. I was truly thankful that I don't get to spend this Thursday alone when Papa leaves for Hero work.

"'Kay! Be safe!" I went down to the front door and greeted my best friend with a suffocating bear hug, wrapping my legs on her waist and reflexively wrapping my wings around us. "Chako~! I missed youuuu!" I gave smothered kisses on her cheek causing her to laugh at me and set me down gently.

"Soo? What we doin' today? Gym or Cafe?" I was really hoping for Cafe.

"Let's go to the Cafe in Shizuoka! Their donuts are the best..." She exclaimed dreamily as I led her to my room to get some money.

"You're plenty rich, Hikari!" She marveled in awe as we continued to walk.

I know about her situation with her family. It's hard and she's really making it hard for me to not treat her some cakes and coffees. She said she didn't want it but she's already drooling when I first suggested it to her the first time we went to a cafe.

"Walk or taxi?" I asked, obviously knowing what she was gonna say.

"Walk!" Called it.

If only I have a hero license already... I could always fly us to our destination.

"Aww! Are these the three cats you kept talkin' about?! They're so cute!" I looked at her and could only muster a sweatdrop. She was squishin' the poor cats with her boobs, suffocating them. Is that how they felt when I do that to them?

"Chako, you're killin' them." I stated as a matter of fact making her pout at me but let go of them nonetheless.

"Fine... Let's go!" We cheered and finally went out of the house, walking to the far cafe while talking about anything that came to mind.

But even that is proving to be quite the challenge.

"Did you know that one of our teachers is my uncle?" The words spilled out my mouth and came rolling into my tongue before I could even process it.

I'd really like to forget the disaster that happened yesterday... And talking is the only thing that can take my mind off of it.

"Really?! Who?"

It really relieves me to see my best friend standing beside me, talking and just hanging out with me like none of the events yesterday happened. It wasn't like she forgot it, she just chose to ignore it. Wish I could do that too.

"It's our homeroom teacher! It's our little secret~"

But how can I forget when the one we're talking about is my uncle? I can still remember the scent of those thick crimson blood. I can see it in my hands... My wings... They looked so red back then... It looked so terrifying...

"Oh! Really?! That's so coo—wait, does your wings seem a little more dark?"

Huh?

I looked back and you know what scared me?

She's right.

My wings looked a bit gray... It's not pure white anymore. What's happening? What caused this?

I forced myself to smile and slap Chako's arm lightly. "Love, you must be seein' things! It's still white! C'mon, let's just enjoy the day." I didn't need to worry her today, she had just gone through so much yesterday. I don't want to remind her of the horror we felt just like I didn't want to remind myself.

"Hmm... I just be imagining thin—oh look! There's the cafe!"

I'll ask Papa about this later. For now, I'll just enjoy every moment with her today, cherish it.

"Chako, c'mon, lemme treat 'ya today! Celebrate our lives, 'ya know!" I kept on persisting while she kept refusing. Finally, she gave in.

I went to the counter and ordered. "One Mocha Frappe, Chocolate Chip Frappe and Two blueberry cheesecakes, please!" I cheerfully ordered.

I waited for about two minutes until the tray was given to me and went back to a frowning Chako. "C'mon love, it's the least I can do for 'ya!" She just sighed at that and smiled at me, accepting her Mocha Frappe. "Thanks, Hikari." I gave her a pleased smile and sat down, setting our blueberry cakes on the table.

"Hey hey, Hikari. I was worried about you yesterday, you know? I went back to check on you but it seems that I didn't have to." She smirked and wiggled her eyebrows at me.

Shit. She saw that? "Whatcha talkin' 'bout, Chako?" I laughed and waved it off, successfully hiding my nervousness. "C'mon! You know what I'm talking about! 'Grenada'~!" She teased me. I turned red at that and looked away, sipping on my Chocolate Chip Frappe.

"Who knew Bakugo could be that soft?" She asked and giggled. I wonder about that too. "I guess he didn't want a pathetic soulmate." I continued to shrug it off, but she's having none of it, unfortunately.

"No, he comforted you! He probably cares about you low-key!" C'mon, Chako, it's not like that. "Whatever flaps your wings, Chako." I just laughed at that, not really feeling irritated. This is what most ordinary school girls talk about, right? It sorta... Feels nice, I guess.

Besides...

He himself said it. He didn't want his soulmate looking weak and pathetic on the ground.

"Hey, Angel! Floaty!" Ah familiar voice called out to us.

"Esqueleto! C'mere! Sit with us!" Chako nodded beside me with a cheerful grin, waving at him. "How you doin' now, Esqueleto? Feelin' good?" I gave him a smirk ang finger gunned him and thankfully, he gave one back.

"Like I should." He continued with a finger gun and smirk of his own. The three of us laughed at that and continued on talking while I occasionally let him get a bite on my cheesecake. "You gals live here?" We shook our head no, simultaneously slurping on our frappes. "We live in Mie Prefecture. Oh, you want summa this?" I nudged the frappes to him and he gladly accepted.

Call it indirect kiss but I don't really care about those. I'm bound to someone, this won't affect that too much.

"Hey, ain't your wings gotten dark? Somethin' wrong with it?" Damn it, Esqueleto!

"Looks like we got the same eyes, Kokkaku!" Chako chirped and giggled at him. I could feel Esqueleto eyeing my smiling face curiously and couldn't help but be awkward for a sec.

"You're imaginin' things, man! Get a grip!" I laughed at him, trying to hide the nervousness on my voice. Thankfully it worked. It's a wonder on how those two aren't even observing my wings even more now that there's two of them that noticed.

What the hell is happening to my wings? Papa, is this normal? Am I still an angel?
