After a month of not updating, I'm suddenly back like nothing happened. Enjoy.
______________________________________"Mt. Lady and Edgeshot are teaming up. Kamui Woods, too!"
"If we're talkin' teams, it's gotta be me and Imouto-chan!" Kokkaku piped in, a joyful grin as he lifted Hikari by the waist in the air, her spreading her wings for extra effect.
"We'll be the best team there is! Chako, too!" She exclaimed joyfully, grinning as she saw Uraraka raise her fist in agreement.
Hikari's mood had gotten better, Katsuki noted. He can assume it's because he, Uraraka, as well as Kokkaku were currently where she can see them and reach for them. Her paranoia's not really improving that much, considering how she held him by the waist yesterday, hugging him with all her strength while silently burying her face in his chest. She didn't let go for five minutes until she said that he might be getting annoyed. He could only mutter little praises to the best of his abilities and tried pulling her close before she let go and smiled at him gratefully, knowing he wasn't the best in complimenting someone or something. Still, he's glad she actually had a friend outside of school other than them whenever she visits her father's grave. She tells him stories about the suspicious but kind man with the paper bag on his head.
Katsuki remembered scolding her for going out without him again, but then again, she's strong and can defend herself just fine. And he trusts her intuition. She knows which people are good and bad.
"Today's assignment, keep working on you ultimate moves."
Hikari looked at her wings, about to pluck the longest feather before she shook her head.
She'll just make another move.
The one she's been practicing with Aizawa back then at summer camp.
She turned to her hand, clenched it tight and smiled to herself.
Losing a move she's gotten used to shouldn't be that bad! She can just make another sword that's not a feather! She can just use her light quirk! Yeah, she'll do that.
"Chako, can you make some rubbles float?"
"On it!"
She clutched her father's black feather in her palm, silently wishing herself good luck.
Ah.
She could already imagine him laughing at her from the heavens with her mother.
______________________________________"GRENADA! HELP ME FIND MY HEARING AIDS!"
"I'M JUST FUCKING BESIDE YOU! YOU DON'T NEED TO YELL!"
"WHAT?!"
"I SAID I'M RIGHT BESIDE YOU!"
"I CAN'T FUCKIN' HEAR YA!"
"YOU REMIND ME OF MY OLD HAG!"
Uraraka just sighed, lifting over a box full of her friend's eromangas until she saw a white ear piece. She rolled her eyes, standing up and going over to Hikari, giving her the little gadget. She received a grateful hug while the blonde received her middle finger which he threw back at her.
"How'd you even make an explosion that loud? And how do your ears even repair that quick?" Uraraka asked when Hikari finally put the aids on, curious as to how she's even hearing anything up til now.
"I dunno. Maybe it's evolution? Humans can still evolve aside from quirks, y'know. Why not ask Grenada, too?"
"If you didn't notice, he's already gone. Look, it's nearing eight already."
