Today, we were given the privilege to train all afternoon, giving us more time to practice and train our quirks, somehow improve it.

I continued on hitting the targets Chako sent up with my exploding needles. Pinky, Sparkly, Esqueleto, Chako and I were training together.

This gave me new ideas on how to improve my needles. I need to make them the most useful at day. They'll be out at night time. While throwing more needles, I kept on expanding it as well as putting more light in it. Some had been perfect but others... Well, it exploded at my face. And, near my ears. So for now, I'm deaf once again. Unfortunately for me, I had forgotten my hearing aids back at home in fear of getting late.

One..

Two...

Five...

Ten...

Damn, I'm out of energy. And so is Chako. She looked pretty green by now and looked as if she was about to hurl in three, two...

"BLURGHHH!"

Yep, she's hitting the hay for now.

I immediately flew to her side, not paying attention to the puddle of rainbow in front of her and grabbed her arms. "Chako! Let's get you to rest!" I spoke loudly, not even hearing what I said. I saw her move her mouth but I can't even comprehend what she's saying. I shook my head at her before flapping my wings, taking off to a safe place. "Sorry Chako! I'm deaf today!" I saw her nod and smile.

I gave her one of my water bottles which she took gratefully and chugged it all down. I was worried that she might start choking if she downed it all in one gulp. And she almost did. I rapidly patted her on the back, trying to ease her coughs.

As I was doing this, I felt familiar heavy footsteps going towards me. I grinned and looked over to the direction, smiling even wider when I saw my damned soulmate with his permanent scowl and glare.

How charming.

Then he started saying, no, more like yelling something's I couldn't comprehend so I only tilted my head and smiled sheepishly, pointing over to my ears. "I'm deaf!" I tried to tell more gently, but I think it came out as a yell.

He just clicked his tongue and started signing.

"You better not be slacking off." He signed to which I just grinned at. "I still have to beat you. Now gimme one of those canteens beside you." I just nodded and passed him a bottle. I can see Chako eyeing us curiously, obviously feeling a little left out. Poor girl.

"Of course not. I'll be with the others, training. I'll beat you in the festival." I signed boldly with a smug grin, watching amused as he gained a tick mark on his temple. He was about to sign something aggressively until I simply winked and blew him a flying kiss, not caring if Chako was watching us, and flew away. I looked back for a second and almost laughed.

He looked shell shocked.

How adorable.

Chako chan was just smirking at me before she sat and placed a towel on her forehead.

Maybe I should train by myself for now. I can't really hear anyone and not everyone knows sign language. It'll be harder training with someone. Should the forest be good enough? But Mountain-head might be there. Oh well, I'll just have to look for him before going down.

As soon as I landed, I started to think of how I could train myself. Should I blindfolded myself and make targets? Should be easy enough. As long as I don't hit a person, then it's alright.

I began making light plates, serving as targets and placed them on trees. I should challenge myself, eh? How about... Fifteen targets. Yeah, that's about alright.
