Pretty please?
(Slightly important A/N at the bottom.)
______________________________________"Let's start with something simple, yeah?"
"Of course! I'll answer honestly!"
Hikari smiled at Kuro, getting out a pen and a paper from God knows where. She started pressing it back and forth, looking at the first question she had on the paper.
"You said you were rented for the USJ attack, right? What for?"
Kuro was sure he already answered it, but for her, he'd answer it a million times.
Down bad, fellas.
"The guy who hired me said it was just to outnumber you students and heroes."
Of course, Hikari knew this already.
"How about.. hmm.. how about the Stain incident?" She asked, but only received a confused look from the boy. "You weren't with them after the USJ?"
Kuro shook his head.
"After I got out the cell, I was released. And I didn't wanna go back to them. I took the money they used to buy me from them before I ran away. Quite the amount, gotta admit."
Hikari nodded and smiled amusedly.
"And where's the money now?"
"Used it to buy medicine for a stray dog. Looked injured."
All that for a stray dog? And was this guy even supposed to be a villain..?
"Also spent it on some food and some cheap motels so I can at least sleep somewhere safe."
Hikari's now doubting that this boy was really a villain and that she'd even get more information out of him. He seemed like he just had to act the part until he gets what he wants. Well, he did try to attack Tokoyami back then. She had crossed out all the questions that were useless and ended up only having one left.
"Then.. what about the.. Nomu?"
The boy froze at that and shivered, rubbing his arms in discomfort, making Hikari raise a brow intimidatingly, as if daring him to not answer.
"That's the brainy thing, right?"
"What else?"
Her sarcastic tone made him straighten up on his seat and fidget.
"Y-Yeah.. I eavesdropped on them one time before I left."
Now this, this was what Hikari's been waiting for. "Oh? Let's hear it, then."
"The uh, nomus, were actually from uh.. dead peeps. And one of their members is actually one. I heard it was gifted to the leader, Shigaraki."
Hikari nodded again and looked at Tokoyami and Hawks at the corner of her eyes, receiving a nod from them.
"That's it for today, sweetheart! What else do you wanna talk abou—"
"A JOB, PLEASE!" He cut her off, raising his hand like a student asking for his teacher's attention. How cute. She could just squish his cheeks.
"E-Eh? How about a waiter at a cafe..."
She didn't get any reaction from that.
"..near my house..?"
Ah, there. The shining smile and the enthusiastic nod.
"Hawks can fly you there after you're bailed out, yeah? Maybe he could also keep an eye on you when he's in his day off. He usually hangs in my house anyway."
