Faye was feeling quite frustrated with the situation at hand. She was a human! Well, she'd been a human only a few hours ago. Peering over her shoulder again, her new appendages glinted in the light. It sure did look like she was a fairy.

Sighing, she brought her hands to her face and shook her head, still not understanding what happened, where she was, and who these people were. She had taken notice of Maya and Tyron's appearance. They were larger than her, but if she'd been standing next to them in her normal body, she'd be a bit taller than them. Their ears are what really captured her intrigue. They were slightly pointy, not quite how she would've imagined elf ears to be, but she was sure that's what these people were.

"Look, I'm not hungry...and I'm not a fairy," she dropped her hands, "Or a bug," she glared at Tyron.

"Maya, I really appreciate your hospitality, but my name is Faye Abernacky. I grew up in a tiny suburb outside of Chicago. My parents are divorce lawyers. I have an older sister and two younger brothers. I work at a Piggly Wiggly on Taylor Street in Chicago. I'm not a fairy!"

Faye had began to pace the counter, trying to figure out what evidence she could offer that would help her prove she wasn't a mythical creature. Pulling her hands out of her pockets she showed them her house keys. They still didn't look convinced.

Taking some time to think back to the events prior to being shot through a canon, Faye remembered the shop she'd been in.

"The last thing I remember was walking down Taylor Street after work. I thought someone was following me so I darted into this little ritualistic shop. Artie, I think his name was, well, he looked kind of like you. Short with the umm..." she looked up and brushed her ear.

Maya was listening intently however Tyron had his arms crossed, rolling his eyes and yawning in annoyance.

Feeling her brows furrow, she attempted to remember the name of the shop, "Kim...Kimay...no...something Yahae..." glancing back up at the two, she searched her mind for the exact words. Maya was extremely interested, nodding her head, hoping the young woman would remember the name.

"He told me it translated to, 'The long path our spirits must travel'."

Tyron piped up, "Kimen Yahae."

Faye felt relief wash over her when he correctly pronounced the name of the shop, "Right, that's it," she pointed in his direction. "Told me I should browse through some books about something called Siopra or something and then I found this green orb..."

Maya stood straight up and glanced at Tyron in wonder.

"What? Something ring a bell?" she asked, feeling very hopeful.
