At the mention of the word, both Tyron and Maya looked at one another in amazement.

Maya cocked one dark brow, "Did she just say...human?"

"I think so..."

"Poor thing, she must have really hit her head hard." Leaning down towards the fairy, Maya smiled sweetly, "If you're a human, then you're a very tiny one. I'm Maya by the way, and this is my son, Tyron, he's the one that brought you here."

Human. That was a word Tyron hadn't heard in a very long time.

Human's were strictly prohibited from entering Siofra and the only elves allowed to enter their world were the elders or royalty. Elves and humans simply didn't mix.

Glancing from the two giants, she dropped her hands from her hips, "Not if I'm human, I am...and my name's Faye." The look the two exchanged caused her brow to furrow, "What makes you think I'm a...fairy?"

Tyron laughed and peered around at her back, "The wings perhaps? They've ripped two giant holes in your jacket. Since when do fairies wear jackets anyway? Aren't you all about skimpy dresses and nudity?" The fairies he'd had the misfortune of meeting did anyway.

Faye wrinkled her brow at Tyron's snide remarks, peering over her shoulder, she saw an almost transparent object flutter. Whipping her head in the opposite direction, she saw the same thing. Reaching toward her back, the objects were light and soft. Dropping her hands and looking back up towards Tyron and then Maya, she felt her eyes widen, "What have you done to me?"

"Excuse me?" Gripping his mothers arm, Tyron pulled her back from the counter and stood in her place instead. "What did I do to you? I didn't do a thing. Apart from be attacked by you!"

She opened her mouth to answer, but he quickly cut her off.

"You dropped out of the sky, like a shinny little rock and slammed into my head. Then you threw up in my hand when I pulled you out of the water and now you're accusing me of turning you into a fairy, right?" A sarcastic laugh echoed up his throat when he turned back to his mother. "Can I just dump her outside now, please?"

"No, Ty!" She scolded him, pushing him aside. "Let me deal with this."

Tyron rolled his eyes and stepped back; his silent was of agreeing.

Maya cleared her throat and leant her hands against the counter top.

"Tyron didn't do anything to you, and neither did I. You must be confused, since you have had a rather rough night, but I'm certain that you are not a human." She eyed the small, delicate wings. "For more than one reason."

"Maybe you're a really big, annoying, blonde bug?" Tyron suggested.

Both women shot him a frustrated glare.

"Or not. Whichever."

Maya waved a hand to silence him, "How about I make you some food? I'm sure that would help."

"Malanai..."

"Enough, Ty. Now, Faye, what would you like?"
