How could Faye go about telling Tyron she wasn't worried about the life mate thing because she simply already felt herself falling for him? She couldn't. He'd been scared out of his mind when the bomb was dropped on them and he simply didn't want to accept it, but given they had no choice now to spend time together, she figured he was going to make the best of it.

Squeezing his fingers gently, enjoying the feel of his skin against hers, she smiled softly, "I'm really not thinking too much about it. I really just want...umm..."

She actually wasn't sure what she wanted. Since she arrived in Siofra, the only thing she wanted was to be human again and here she was, all flesh and bones minus the wings and quick color changes. And, she should've wanted to return home, but knowing she couldn't right now and she had to help the future of this gorgeous world, she wasn't to soak it up. She was a heroine of sorts.

"I just want to get away from your King and be safe," she blinked happily at him.

Tyron gave her strange, confused look as he continued to trod through the brush.

Gazing around at the beautiful scenery as they passed through Ama Wood, Faye thought of the poppy fields in the Wizard of Oz. They were so beautiful and so disastrous at the same time, she wondered if this was a trap of some sort.

"Do you trust Luna and Artie?" she inquired, readjusting the heavy bag on her back.

"What makes you ask that?" he glanced down at her, his bright eyes twinkling.

"You always seem so put off by having to deal with them, I just get the feeling you're not a fan."

Tyron walked in silence for quite a few yards until he spoke up and if Faye had wanted to upset him, she would've kept bugging, but she didn't want to be known as the 'nagging' girlfriend...wait...girlfriend, was she his girlfriend? Suddenly, all thoughts of her previous question vanished and she wondered what she was to him. Was she his girlfriend, his fiancée, his...what?

"I guess Artemis is a tricky old coot, so simply believing everything he says can be difficult. The same goes with Luna, they were destined for a number of reason I'm sure, their craziness makes it impossible to see them with anyone else," he finally explained, gazing back down at her and quickly realizing she was in deep in thought.

He came to quick halt, causing Faye to nearly trip over her own to feet to stop. Tyron tugged a piece of her blonde locks behind her ear, attempting to read her mind, but only Luna could do that as far as she knew.

"What's wrong?"

Faye's eyes darted around the area, looking to see if they were being followed or watched, but mostly so she wouldn't have to feel embarrassed about where her thoughts had truly been.

"Faye...?" Tyron whispered, tilting her head to look straight up at him, a soft smirk dancing across his lips.

"I want to kiss you," she blurted out, not really thinking through her words and felt a huge rush of embarrassment wash over her, her cheeks turning red.

Tyron took a quick step forward, his head cocked to one side and Faye could taste his breath on her lips.

"So, what's stopping you?" he raised his brows in a challenge.

Faye had to swallow hard, she'd never been teased like this before and Tyron sure knew how to do it well enough.

"I guess I just..." she was caught off guard when Tyron bowed his head, his arm wrapping around her waist as he tugged her close and gently brushed his lips against hers in one breathless motion.
