chapter 41 | Obedient

12 am.

"Oh baby..." I moan for the thousandth time today while stretching my limbs and taking all the tiredness out of me. I bend my head back and yawn widely, remaining slouched on the bench while y/n is eating the lunch my mom cooked for us. "I'm so damn worn out..." I turn towards her like a lazy crap but rest my head on her shoulder, put my arm behind, and lay my other hand on her thigh. "I'm worn out because of you..." I tease her about that night again but look up at her, to see her features.

She smiles but avoids me, so I gaze down at my hand caressing her thigh with sweetness. This hand on which is still written her name with the red heart drawn beside it. I smile but with my arm placed right behind her, I bring my other hand up to close it into a fist and rest my head on it. I'm even closer to her face.

The tip of my fingers keep traveling along her smooth skin covered with a thin layer of a pair of tights, I stare at her while she's chewing on her food cutely and gazing at the students.

"I love you..." I whisper close to her ear, meaning my words and willing to say them more often. I don't know if those three words trigger to her as many emotions as they do to me but if it does, then her stomach must be full of butterflies right now. Her lips form a smile but she bends her head back against my arm, swallows, and looks up at the branches of the cherry blossom tree losing its color.

"I love you too..." she beams and turns her head in my direction, to make us get into eye contact. "Hey lovers," the voice of Mino startles y/n but does nothing to me. I remain in my position and glance up at him as he's walking towards us. "Hey," she responds to him with a broad smile and he sits down next to me. To not be rude, I get in a proper position and don't keep my back turned towards him. My right arm remains behind my baby to rest on the back of the bench but I drop my left hand on my thighs.

"How are you doing?" Mino asks us with a smile, putting his bag between his legs. "I'm doing good, and you?" she answers so I do so with the same words. "Good too," he fixes his black cap but sets his eyes on my hand. A chortle runs out of his mouth and he glances up at me. "Don't tell me this is permanent marker."

"It is," I tell the truth with no shame or embarrassment but he shakes his head while chuckling. "Young couples are so cute," he glances away but places his forearms on his thighs to lean forth and hold his hands together. "Oh so you're old?"

"Yes I am," he nods. "I have back pains, my body aches all the time and I always like to sleep..." he explains to just say what I already know and he goes backward, straightening his back and leaning on the bench to be in my sight only. He crosses his arms over his chest and spread his legs to get comfortable when my long ones are already taking a lot of space.

His head suddenly turns in my direction and while y/n is looking away, he tries to be discreet and gives me a little hit in the knee with his. Not understanding this behavior, I frown at him but he comes closer to say something in my ear. "You did it?"

I grin but glance away from him. He acts like a dumbass and punches my arm to show his enthusiasm and curiosity about it. "Come on!" he laughs but since I can't bear this moron, I remove my arm from y/n and turn more towards him. "Leave me alone, alright?" I smile nervously but see he understood everything right away.

"Dude," he licks his lips. "We're gonna have a talk," this stupid guy doesn't keep his mouth shut when y/n is right beside me but I chuckle. "Hell no. Just shut up or I kick your ass."

"I ain't leaving," he rises from his spot but without no explanations, ends on my lap. "What are you going to-"

"Get the hell away from me!" I punch him away but he forces his ass on my thighs to not leave. "I'm talking with her right now, shut up," he grips the edge of the bench to not give up and has a conversation with my girl. I huff harshly but just let go, he's not going to get back on his spot no matter what I do anyway.
