'Fuck you guys.' I shout as I'm frustratedly inserting the tent poles through the thin frame. 'I didn't ask to come here okay? So I don't get why you're punishing me.' Aaron has tears in his eyes after having laughed his ass off at me failing to assemble the tent we're supposed to be spending the night in.
The moment the boys asked me to build our tent I had laughed in their faces and told them there was no way I was doing that. I've never touched a tent in my life, let alone built one. But the two of them still chose to leave tent duty to me as they stood to the side and watched in amusement as I failed miserably at it.
'Ella it's really not that hard. Just follow the steps I gave you.' Aaron states this as he's wiping tears off his cheek and I crane my neck so I can glare at him.
'I AM FOLLOWING THE STEPS!' I yell which only sets him off again. He's holding his stomach letting the laughter erupt out of him again and I turn back to the stupid tent and shove the poles through the frames in fury.
A good minute passes and I hear Timmy sigh. 'Ok I think she's had enough Aaron let's help her.' Timmy walks over to me. I know this because I can hear the leaves crunching up underneath his feet. I don't look at him though because I'm mad.
Well.. not mad. Just annoyed with him and my brother. They're making fun of me. I knew it was all in good fun but I wasn't going to play nice just yet. I needed them to feel bad for me first. Timmy kneels down beside me and places his hand on my arm. I jerk my arm away from him and he stares at me in shock. 'Baby no come on don't be mad at me. I was going to help you out sooner but your brother wouldn't let me.' He places a kiss on my cheek and it's enough to make me melt inside.
I turn to look at him and I look from his lips to his eyes seeing his lips smile back at me but eventually my gaze stays fixed on his eyes for a moment and I start pout. 'Are you going to help me now or what?' I ask.
And he replies by pecking my lips. 'Yes baby. Of course. You don't even have to do anything I'll do it all for you. Just sit back and relax okay?'
I'm about to reply to him but Aaron cuts in making me roll my eyes. 'Hey can we set some ground rules?' He announces.
'Ground rules?' I ask turning away from Timmy and looking at my brother.
'Yeah. Rules like no kissing in front of Aaron, or behind Aaron's back thinking he doesn't hear the two of you smooching. And no calling eachother baby and acting all in love. I don't think I can handle all of that for an entire day.' The way he fake gagged after admitting that made me want to smile but I was still pretending to be mad at him seeing as he still hasn't apologized for making me suffer as I built that tent.
I stand up patting the dust of my pants and then I walk over to my brother, crossing my arms over my chest and raising my eye eyebrows at him deviously. 'You brought us here, so I guess you're just going to have to endure it.' He scoffs but I simply shrug my shoulders and walk away.
Usually I'd respect his wishes if he felt even the slightest but uncomfortable with me and Timmy being all lovey dovey in front of him. But not today. It was payback time and I made a mental note in my head to make Aaron as uncomfortable as possible during this trip.

After roaming the open area for hours gathering some wood for a fire, and having our tent already set up it was Aaron's great idea to have us go for a swim in the lake. I truly was not fond of that idea. The water was most definitely going to be freezing cold and who knew what creatures lived in that lake.
