CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Angelica looked at the man before her , his eyes flashed an unreadable emotion which disappeared immediately leaving her asking herself if it was even there in the first place.
"Say something ." He said blankly

She looked at him again. His face held the "I've been rejected before so I also expect you to reject me" look. At this she placed her hands on his arms and tingles erupted at the contact, it was like a current was flowing from him to her body. She could feel her heart accelerate and his heartbeat spoke the same.
She stared at him getting lost in his eyes again and they found themselves leaning in. They were so engrossed in their emotions that they did not notice the stares Trey and Elijah were giving them.
And when his lips brushed hers did Elijah break them apart amused at how easy it was for the two to shut the others out once they made eye contact.
"Do you always have to interrupt us?" Nicklaus snapped at his brother .

"Well I can't just sit here and watch my brother shove his tongue down a ladies throat so you'll have to deal with that."

Nicklaus turned to Angelica and for the first time, he smiled at her......a genuine smile.
"Well?" He muttered

"Klaus, could we talk about this after we find her please , I know she's in danger right now I can feel it and if we don't get to her soon we'll loose her for good this time. Though I would like to ask why do I always get lost in your eyes? Why did I feel tingles when I touched you and why did you calm me so fast with just your touch?" She rambled.

This caused the three men to chuckle as Nicklaus smirked.
"I'll also answer you after we find her though I don't know who you are referring to."

Angelica looked at Trey and she realized she had even forgotten about his presence .
As if reading her thoughts he spoke out,
"I think we need to have a serious talk and don't give me I woke up and couldn't remember anything bullshit because from your conversation with them it's obvious they have known you for long."

"Can they come along to your room please ?"

He only nodded leading the way to his room.
After making sure that he had closed all the openings and no one could eavesdrop on them he told her to begin speaking.

"Okay, I'm the chosen Alpha that you have been looking for "

Trey laughed at her clearly thinking it's a joke . He studied the girl before him and almost sneered at her. She did not look like an Alpha let alone the chosen one, turns out she was a good liar.

"Wait! You really are a good liar ain't you? When you came you told me you didn't remember anything and when I caught on to your lie you're telling me you are the chosen one as in my sibling? Sorry but father told me it was a boy and not a girl and if you don't tell me the truth I will have to torture you to get it out because you're proving to be a threat ." He was getting really annoyed

" I was raised a human and I only realized my true self on my sixteenth birthday which was last month. My birth mother left me a letter saying I had a prophecy to fulfill and the more I delayed the more my people suffered.  I don't even know the prophecy to begin with . I found this place because she also left a drawing similar to the wolves outside the gates. And I found her, she was right in the prison I took you in but I guess she was taken away and that means they know someone got into that room. All I know is that that woman is your mother and take a good look at me, I look like a younger version of her. The last time I saw her, she was still chained to the wall and her only hope was me saving her so I need to do exactly that and if nobody is going to help me then I'll go alone." By this time she was crying again

Trey looked at her and realized she looked exactly like his mother . The dark hair , the blue eyes even her voice was almost the same. Then the truth dawned on him, making a realization that that's the reason why he had felt a need to protect her from the first day they met, the reason why he always felt genuinely happy when with her. And he hugged her, tightly afraid that he was going to loose her again. He realized that his father only wanted him to hate his sibling so that he could help in the killing but he was not going to kill his sister for power, she didn't deserve that.
He kissed her head and decided to form his own plan against his father without him or Angelica knowing. He was going to defend her until  his last breathe.

Elijah looked at his brother wondering what kind of a beloved he would make. Instead of comforting her, he was busy getting bored about her reunion with her brother. He mentally made a note to teach him few things about being a good beloved.
"Go comfort her idiot, that's your job!" He whispered looking at him.
Truly, their childhood had really taken a toll on him and he needed to find a way to help him before he lost her.

Nicklaus stood up and went to hug her. He turned her around before crushing his lips on hers but before she could respond, he pulled away and smiled again .

"We'll find her together!"
