CHAPTER ELEVEN

Trey stared at her confusion written all over his face
"Wait, you know these people..." He asked finally

"Yes and no!" She answered rather quickly

"Care to explain?"

"I told you I don't remember anything but when I woke up they were the first people I saw and our meeting wasn't good I can say ," Angelica said scowling at the two of them.

This left the two men's mouth hanging out not believing her words but they quickly concealed it, maybe this was her way of solving things.

"Throw them in the cell next to Angie's room, I guess they will have a nice time  next to each other." Trey said.

Once Trey was out of the dungeons and they were sure he could not listen on to their conversation , they let loose.

"What the hell !!!! Elijah! Nicklaus!!! I'm beginning to think that stalking me is your hobby ,". Angelica snapped at them.

"Oooowwh! " Elijah cooed

"You look like a little ferocious kitten who wants to bite." Nicklaus supplied.

"What do you want? You are getting me all riled up and it's not my character."

"We waited for your call of distress but it never came so we decided to come and check it out on our own if you were still alive or dead . " That was Nicklaus

"I must say that you have done a great job but it is way slower than it should be. We are hurting and you need to do this fast ." This was Elijah

"How are you even involved in any of this ?" Angelica questioned

"Because the rogue Alpha just attacked our area of residence and a lot of our people have lost their lives . We couldn't save them and sadly our father was a victim." Elijah said .

At this, her face softened as she felt their hurt.
She stood outside their cell and  watched their reaction.
Whatever they we're feeling was hard to tell as they hid their emotions away their eyes blank and stone cold.

She looked at Nicklaus and found his eyes on her and suddenly the whole world stopped. It was like they were alone as they got lost in each other's eyes . She felt wild desire coursing through her veins, her body felt like it was on fire as each hair fibre stood up. She realized just how handsome he looked like , his sharp jaw set and his full lips . She didn't realize she had started licking her lower lips until someone cleared his throat and the spell was broken.

" I. Uhmmm... I.." Angelica stammered.

"Ta ta ta ta, and now you can't talk or find a nasty comeback Angelica. Wow the bond is working too fast." Elijah smirked looking at the both of them.

Angelica stood transfixed on the spot too embarrassed to say a word. She then turned her back on them and got into her room, glad it could give her some privacy unlike the cells that were free anyone could see through.

When she was almost asleep , she caught on the brothers whispering to each other.

"You need to tell her the truth !" That was Elijah

"And then what ? She doesn't even know her true self. And she doesn't even know the meaning of a beloved heck I'm sure she doesn't know the other supernatural beings except her kind and you want me to just drop the bomb on her and get rejected . Thank you but my answer is a no ." That was Nicklaus .

"Okay, let me just sit down and watch her get a uhmm ... what do they call them...."

Angelica could picture Elijah thinking out

"Mate ! Yes it's a mate. You know she's a hybrid and chances are she has two mates and if you don't make her fall for you, she'll just find the mate and choose him over you brother so if I were in your shoes I'd tell her right away, the reaction part doesn't matter for now as long as she is aware ."

Angelica zoned out for the remainder of their conversation . All that lingered in her mind was the words spoke .. mate... Beloved... her's... Hybrid... Two... Find... Late

And when she couldn't hold it any longer ,she got out of her room to confront them because it seemed that they knew more than they claimed to.

They didn't notice her presence as they continued to argue.

"I see you have been busy while I was gone buddies , mind to tell me what you are discussing maybe I could add a point or two."

She looked as they both tensed turning to look at her, a panic striken Nicklaus and a smug looking Elijah .
Nicklaus looked at his brother with pleading eyes clearly begging him not to tell her whatever they were talking about.
Elijah on the other hand looked like he was not affected and turned to look at her, an unreasonable expression on his face.

"Klaus has a very important message he needs to tell you, don't you brother?"
