CHAPTER FOURTEEN

The man strained to hear what was being talked inside the room but he heard nothing . He pressed his ears onto the door but before he could hear anything ,the door opened and he fell face flat on to the floor. He had been caught but loyalty to his Alpha is all he could think of, at least he would die the best rogue spy to the Alpha.
He despised the future Alpha because he was lenient and whatever he had going on with the new dungeons girl was his mission to find.

Trey looked at the dirty man who had been caught trying to hear their conversation.
"What were you doing ?" He thundered

No response .

"What were you doing ?"

No response .

At this, he bent down tilting the man's head until he recognized him. His father's spy known to only the both of them. He was very good at what he did and left no mistakes, so it came as a surprise when he caught him on his door and he knew it was part of the mission.

The sound of bones breaking could be heard as Trey's fist landed on the man's face administering punch after punch until the man's face was so bloodied but he still refused to talk. This was the reason his father chose him as a spy ; he never let his mission known to anyone even if caught .

Trey knew the only way to find out the truth from him but torture wasn't as he was used to. He was only hitting him because he realized his father had been playing him all along and he was just a pawn in his game of thrones therefore venting his anger out to him.

A touch on his shoulder alerted him that someone was there.
"Trey please stop, we need to find out something from him right now because  I am sure he was the one who took her. And stop venting your anger to him, there is someone who should be receiving those punches better save them for later ."

He stood up at Angelica's plead, dragging the man inside before bolting the doors. Silver would not work with him but the only thing that made him cooperate was about to be administered to him.
By now the wounds on his face were healing and just ugly bruises remained.

Angelica noticed the hatred present in the man's eyes, the spite he held and how his lips formed a sneer . All these were directed to her brother Trey .
She watched as Trey rummaged through his drawers until a smile broke on to his face.

He stood up holding a syringe full of a brown liquid.
The man begun trembling , his earlier pride gone but he would not submit to the weakling in front of him.

"I ha..ve  alre..ady mind...link.ed the Alpha. He's on his way he..re."  The man stammered but this only gave him up.

"Really ?" Trey taunted. "I just tried to mind link him right now and he told me he doesn't give a shit to whatever happens to you because you were becoming a pain in the ass."
This struck a nerve as the man almost shouted at him

"That's not true , he would never do that to me. I'm his most trusted spy and I do my work well." He answered firmly but Trey caught on the quiver in his voice and knew he was trying to convince himself.

"Try mind linking him and see that he has already blocked you out because to him you are dead already ."

The man tried mind linking and sure enough it was not going through. He felt broken hearted. He had served with loyalty to his Alpha and he threw all that when an opportunity presented itself. All the despise he held for the future Alpha dissolved, he realized that his good heart is what they needed and not a person who instilled fear into others and celebrated killing his people whenever he felt like. With these thoughts, he decided to come clean. If he decided to kill him, he would gladly die knowing he came clean but if his life was spared he would dedicate his whole life supporting him .

"My mission was to find the chosen Alpha. But ever since she came here, the Alpha's wolf has been on edge because no one comes this side and not especially a girl so he ordered me to watch each and every thing he does and report it to him without being noticed. And when you became so close , he told me to always listen to your conversations until I realized what the girl was up to. And I watched her sneak in and out of that prison that no one is supposed to go into, I watched her run when she thought everyone was asleep , I watched her sneak up on the warriors as they trained watching their techniques and practising them later on her own."

Angelica shuddered at this revelation. She was being stalked by an unknown person. This was the man who had been making her paranoid since the day she went for a run and felt eyes on her. But this was not the time to get him annoyed , so she just went closer to the man  looked him in the eyes and barred her canines at him.
"If you dare follow me around, I'll snap your neck !"

"I wasn't planning on it anymore ,"

Taking a deep breath, he asked the question that had been disturbing her since.
"Do you know where they took the woman from that cell?"

"I don't exactly know but I may have clues to lead you there!"
