CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

Trey walked past the guards with the others close in tow.
It still baffled Angelica as to how the rogue Alpha had gone to the extent of getting her mother outside the perimeter walls and giving her up without a fight. Something was not adding up.

She tried to keep up Trey's pace as he took their mother to his own room.
"This is the only place that nobody can get in without my permission  that's why it's better to keep her here in case of any attack. I've already mind-linked my personal doctor and he will be here soon."

Soon after the doctor mind-linked Trey informing him that he was outsidehis door and Trey got up to let him in.
The doctor whose name was Ryanne, observed her injuries dressing the fresh ones and applying ointment to the wounds from before .

"Her body will recover in two to three days but she has shut her mind thus going into a coma, for how long we don't know. I would prefer she rests more so that her mind can become relaxed. But whatever happened to her, I can't guarantee that she will be psychologically stable."

The doctor left after giving them instructions on how to treat her.

"I think this is the time to tell everyone the truth . That way we can get allies or people to help us." Trey spoke up.

"But who will believe that a sixteen year old girl with no experience in fighting is the chosen one. Besides she is not supposed to show anyone her real powers until the right time because some of those rogues are very loyal to their Alpha and they will sell us out." Nicklaus spoke

"We will just start with the dungeons , most of those in there are not rogue . They are Alpha's and their subjects who were conquered by my father so they will do anything to pay back . The problem will be convincing the rogues outside, they love their savage life." Trey supplied.

Angelica nodded remembering Kyle and how he had told her he was looking for Alpha's to support the chosen one when the right time came. The time had finally come to go tell him the truth .
This time she led the way to the dungeons she had resided in for a whole month.
"Could you be the one to speak please , I'll just conclude okay? And I have a friend of mine I met in the dungeons who can help find allies." Angelica said

"I got you baby sis," Trey smirked as Angelica turned to glare at him.
"Don't call me that, for your information I'm already sixteen ." Angelica whined

"Even if you turn forty you'll still be my small sis so quit the whining ." Trey countered
Angelica just pouted at this.

In reality Trey was just trying to lighten up the mood because the air was so tensed nobody dared to speak.

As the dungeon door creaked open, all the prisoners turned to look at them .

"The time has come for the truth to come out. Most of you know about the prophecy about the chosen one right?"
Trey asked
Some nodded, others glared and sneered at him while others just looked at him completely bored but he was not giving up.

"So I found that chosen one you've been looking for," 
At this everyone's head shot up and they listened carefully.

"I want to work with the chosen alpha. Many of you were Alpha's before being captured by my father , others even have their subjects in here with them. Some lost their people , their children,their mates to the cruel rogue Alpha and am offering you a chance to pay him back. We want to make the supernatural world peaceful, we don't want to live in fear of being attacked, heck we don't want to look over heads all the time. And that's why I want you to support me, to support the chosen one inorder for us to make our world peaceful like it was before his rule."

As expected ,there is always a doubting Thomas in every place and this was not an exception.
"How do you expect us to believe you?"

"You're his son , you watched him do all that without questioning his authority."

"We want to see the chosen one!"

"You're just spying for him!"

"We don't believe you!"

"Bring the chosen one here and let him address us!"

Everyone was now talking and it was becoming very hard to tell what one was saying.

Amidst all that noise, Angelica saw him. He was seated in his cell completely assuming the whole conversation . His bruises were almost healed but he looked like he had already lost hope.

Making her way to him,  she called out
"Alpha Kyle?"

He turned and a smile stretched out but it didn't reach his eyes. She could see it was forced

"What is bothering you Kyle ?"

"Maybe the chosen one will never come . Maybe it's just a fake prophecy that will not come to pass. I've lost hope and I know that rogue's son is spilling lies right now." He said the last sentence with so much hatred that she almost didn't recognize him .

"I'm the chosen Alpha, Kyle and it's time for you to give me the people you mobilized to stay loyal to me."

"I knew it! I could see it in you but you knew nothing so I thought it was my imaginations and that old age was finallycatching up on me." Kyle said a genuine smile covering his features

"Time to take back what you lost old man!"
