CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE

    The Reeds were shocked at what just happened and as Trey led them inside they looked at the two Mikaelson brothers.
"What are you guys doing he was goingre," Harriet asked calmly but they had known her for long and a storm was brewing.
When none made an effort to reply she continued
"So you knew all along " her voice was raising and she couldn't hold back her tongue
"You knew and you never told us. I could have protected my baby girl or prepared her for this and now I just failed that kind lady who gave me her daughter ! Why didn't you say anything! "
She held Elijah by the collar as her husband tried to calm her down.

"It wasn't our story to tell and even if we told you would you have believed us?"
And when she didn't answer it gave them the answer needed .

"We must get her back . We have to get her back ," she kept repeating until another to voice spoke
"Who?"

They all turned each widening their eyes at the sight of her.
"You! " The Reeds chorused

"Mum !" Trey whispered not believing it

"Aunt Clarissa !" Nicklaus and Elijah said.

She ignored their shocked faces repeating her question
"Who must we get back?"

"Angelica ," Trey answered.

"Ooh don't worry about her . She will be back today or tomorrow hurt but still breathing," Clarissa said

"And how do you know that?" Nicklaus said getting defensive

"I was shown how it will happen. What I wasn't shown is how it will end " she replied sincerely.

Angelica sensed that nobody was present and knew it was time .
She started singing a song that she once loved and it inspired her

I messed up tonight ,I lost another fight
I still mess up but I'll just start again
I keep falling down, I keep on hitting on the ground
I always get up now to see what's next

She could feel her power igniting

Birds don't just fly they fall down and get up
Nobody learns without getting it wrong

The vines started sprouting enclosing her body

I won't give up no I won't give in
Till I reach the end and then I'll start again
No I won't leave

I wanna try even though I could fail .

Her eyes had already changed their color and they we're shining like fire

Look how far you've come

Baby you've done enough take a deep breath
Don't beat yourself up

Sometimes we come last but we did our best

By then the vines were almost covering her whole body preventing the spikes from doing harm

I won't give up no I won't give in
Till I reach the end and then I'll start again
No I won't leave
I wanna try everything
I wanna try even though I could fail.

And with her command, the vines started going down bringing her with them making sure it left space for her to breathe .
She travelled in the ground until they started sprouting outside the walls.

Trey was pacing in his office when a  man he recognized as one of his gatekeepers barged in panting heavily.
"Alpha, the chosen one has returned" he said .

Trey rushed past him calling others to come out and check .
"Angelica has returned!" He shouted as he headed towards the gates hoping that it was true.

And sure enough , Angelica lay down , her clothes tattered  new wounds that were not healing were present on her . In short she looked like she had been run over by a truck over and over again.

Trey examined the wounds realizing that whatever was used to inflict the wounds must have been put in silver and wolfsbane to stop the healing .
He immediately mind-linked his doctor to wait for him outside his room with all the necessary medicine needed to remove silver and wolfsbane in her system .

Just as he wanted to lift her, a loud snarl was heard before Nicklaus appeared his fangs outside and all you could read was rage and revenge for the one who had hurt his beloved.
"D.o.n.t  t.o.u.c.h  her! " He snarled carrying her in his arms as they rushed towards Trey's room.

The doctor started working on her immediately and they had to hold Nicklaus down as Everytime Angelica flinched, he wanted to rip the doctor apart .
"I'll revenge you Angie I will !" He shouted and for the first time since he was seven years old Nicklaus cried. He cried for his beloved , he cried for he didn't know if she would ever love a broken guy like him and he cried because he had overheard her telling Kieran that she loved him .

"It will be okay Klaus! She'll be fine "

Elijah tried to comfort him as he was still shocked to see him cry. Klaus had just shut out everyone abruptly at only seven years old and by the time he realized the reason why it was too late to break the walls around him. He never showed his emotions to any one so it came as a surprise when he cried openly for the girl he had loved since her birth but did not have the courage to tell her or even give her a chance when she asked for one !
