CHAPTER FOUR

A man could be seen pacing his office while clenching and unclenching his fists. His stance was rigid and tense. Two younger men were on the opposite side of the room their heads bowed down in submission.

"You knew the spell was broken on her sixteenth birthday but you did nothing to keep her safe???" He roared, his eyes turning red.

The two younger men shivered in fear each taking a step behind .
"Elisha, you're the eldest and you promised her mother that no harm would befall her daughter but by the way both of you are behaving, more than harm will befall her."

"Make sure you're always with her without being noticed and I hope you remember the rules .""

They both nodded meekly.

Back at the Reed residence, Angelica had decided to find her roots. Her parents tried to change her mind but the only thing that lingered in her mind was ...... The longer you stay the more your people suffer .....

She didn't know these people , her people but she wasn't going to let them suffer if there was something she could do about it.

"Mama and Papa, I'll be back to join college and fulfill your dreams for me. I promise ." Was all she said as she prepared for the journey to the unknown world.

Her mind wandered to different scenarios as to how the werewolf world looked like.

"Angie there's something I forgot to tell you ." Angel mind-linked after some time

"What is it?"

"Each pack has a distinct scent but if you don't have a pack then you don't have a scent linked to a pack. So you become a rogue and so any pack views you as a threat. "

"So what's your point Angel?"

"My point is that we are rogue !" Angel snapped blocking the mindlink .

Angel had been restless since the first time they met but whenever Angelica wanted to talk, she blocked the communication and talked whenever it was necessary .

Angelica sighed and continued to pack her backpack . It consisted of one pair of jeans, a tank top and a black hoodie .
Angel had warned her not to carry anything but she was adamant , hell the wolf wanted them to run thirty five miles away when she had a brand new car.

She descended the stairs to the sight of her sobbing mother and her father comforting her . This made to almost reconsider her decision but in the end she walked to them and hugged both of them.

"I'm not going for good mama , stop crying I'll be back before you know it."

"But you don't know if wherever place you're going is safe for you or if it holds answers to your questions."

"And that's why I'm going to check it out Mama, just have faith in me. "

Her father just nodded as she walked towards the door
"Stay safe.". Was the last thing Angelica heard before shutting the door.

As she drove , Jason Derulo's songs kept her company. With occasional stops to rest and buy food for the journey . The kingdom Angel talked about was two days away ,forcing her to stock her food .

On the first day, nothing happened on the way but on the second day, she could feel eyes on her. She tried ignoring it but the feeling persisted causing her stomach to churn in anxiety. Distant snarls could be heard proving that wolves were around.

"Angel , please say something.. I'm on edge please talk to me.." she called out

"I might have forgotten to mention that you are passing in another pack's territory and as I said you're rogue so they view you as a threat ."

"How do they know I'm here? And this is a human town not a werewolf territory ."

"You know the reason I don't like talking to you is because you don't know anything about your world and you're so ignorant I fear it will cost you one day. They caught your scent and humans are so ignorant like you, thinking that supernatural beings are myths but we live among them and they don't notice.

A van pulled up in front of her, blocking the way.
A man came out of the car wearing an angry expression on his face . He emanated power from the way he walked and even his aura.
She stepped out of the car ready to give him a piece of her mind for blocking her way.

"What are you doing in my territory rogue?" He spat

"I'm just passing by and I mean no harm whatsoever to you or your people. So relax your tits."

He snarled clearly annoyed at being disrespected. He barred his canines at her enjoying how she trembled taking steps behind .

"Nobody disrespects me. Did your parents not teach you that an Alpha should not be disrespected ? Or maybe you don't have any, rogues don't have families!"

Angel laughed at the back of Angie's mind clearly amused by the turn of events.
"I told you your ignorance will cost you and it has just begun !"

When her back hit the car, the Alpha pounced on her choking her.
"Rogues like you deserve to die because all you do is destroy everything in your way !"

Suddenly , two arrows whizzed from behind her, implanting themselves into the man. He slumped down as his eyes went foggy, probably mindlinking someone.

"You need to leave right now !" A voice shouted.

She turned to see two young men but they seemed older than her, one was elder and the other younger.
He recognized them immediately

"Wait!"she gasped
"You are Elijah and Niclaus Mikaelson!"
