CHAPTER NINETEEN

The prisoners were getting out of hand . They were shouting at Trey clearly not convinced .
This looked harder than they had expected.

Angelica walked up to Trey and requested him to give her the keys to the prisons.

Trey called the guard on duty who handed him the keys which he handed them to Angelica.

She walked over to Kyle's cell quickly unlocking it. A wide smiled Kyle stepped out dusting imaginary dust before turning to the others in the cells.
"You remember that promise I made to you? I promised to help you seek revenge for every wrong thing done unto you. I promised to help the chosen Alpha and those who agreed with me, this is the time to fulfill your promise ."
He then turned to Angelica and nodded at her .

She inhaled a deep breath before speaking
"I'm the one and I really need your help right now."

There was pin drop silence. Then a laugh was heard followed by another and another until everyone was laughing hysterically .
"Is this some kind of joke?" Someone asked amidst all the laughter

"How can a girl , let alone a teenager become the chosen one?"another pointed out

"We need proof . The girl can't fight so how is she supposed to beat the rogue Alpha?" Another jeered

Angelica really got annoyed at this and yelled in a strong voice that sounded new to her ears.
"Let the strongest one of you fight me now, let me show you that it's not only men who can fight." She growled out

A middle aged man raised his hand up. Even though he was in rags, one could see how well defined his body was. He was fully packed and if anyone would fight him it was predictable who would win.
"I'll fight you and prove that you can't be our savior!"

Angelica inwardly smiled. The self defense classes his parents had enrolled her coupled with the extra strength she had were enough to make her win.
"Challenge accepted !" She said causing the man to smirk, a smirk that she wanted to badly wipe off his face.

Trey took his hand and pulled her aside clearly annoyed at her decision.
"You do realize that if you loose this fight we are done for. Nobody will be willing to follow you!"

"Your only problem is that you don't believe in women yet they are the most lethal weapon used by others to finish  strong people and you my brother, will be part of the ones being finished if you don't get rid of that attitude with women. At least believe me if you can't believe the other women can fight!" She said clearly annoyed walking past him and headed for the man's prison, finding the right key and opening it.

The others stood aside as they circled each other.
"I'm Brian by the way. In case I beat you I'll be willing to teach you the moves ya know," he winked at her

Angelica stayed on the defense observing for any weaknesses. She observed that he put less pressure on his right leg meaning it was his weakness.
Brian threw a punch on the right but she was quick to realize it was fake because it was coming from his side of weakness, she held his fist in a tight grip twisting it so hard before pushing him with much force .
Not giving him time to recover, he landed punch after punch left right as he tried to block each. His self defense teacher had taught her to always know your opponents weakness before being the attacker.
She spun around kicking him hard on his chest that he stumbled backwards blood pouring out of his mouth .
"Submit !" She demanded

"Never!" He replied before delivering a strong kick to her stomach which caught her unaware making her move several steps behind . She became overcome with pure rage. Brian gave her time to recover sneering at the little girl who thought she could beat him in a fight .

As he aimed a punch to her ribs, she dodged hitting him in the groin before lifting him high up and bringing him down that when he landed , bones could be heard cracking.  He had broken some bones.

He bowed his head into her finally speaking the words that he never thought he would tell a woman
"I submit ! "

It was like time stopped as the men clearly saw how their best fighter go down in seconds .
"Whoever is still doubting me to come forward and challenge me!'

Nobody came forward, nobody spoke but when she looked around everyone had bowed down to her including her brother
"Long live the chosen one!" They chanted on and on until she asked them to stop.

"We are going to war and I can't promise all of you that I'll keep you safe, but I promise to be the last one on the battlefield , I'll fight till I'm either dead or he is. But before i open those cells I want to give you three important things to remember ."
She paused to make sure everyone was listening .

"Number one: Never underestimate your opponent regardless of his or her appearance."

"Number two : Always look for the opponents weakness before being the attacker."

"And number three: Never give your opponent time to recover,"
Trey had a proud look on his face as she spoke to them

"Lack of these three is what has made me defeat him in a matter of seconds !"

With that, she moved cell to cell opening for each prisoner to get out.

One group was settled, one more to go.
