Chapter 9

Dinner

Saturday morning came.

I was busy combing my hair when mom entered.

"Dale, how are you feeling?"

"Maayos naman na po ang pakiramdam ko,"

"I want to talk to the students na nambugbog sayo,"

"Mom, okay na po ako. And, they already had detention."

"Detention is not enough, Dale. Didn't I told you that I don't want it happening again?"

"Mom, hayaan na po natin. Besides, its exam week. Makakagulo lang po iyon. Please, mommy?"

Then I hugged her.

Mommy sighed before she hugged me back.

"Okay. Right, you should focus on your exams. But this is my last warning, Dale. One more time na maulit pa ang ganyang incident, I won't let it slid, understand?"

"Thank you, mommy!"

Nag ayos na ako after having a light breakfast. Arie and I are about to study together for the finals next week. I just wore my usual jeans and a white fitted shirt.

Running an errand for the company.

Napangiti naman ako sa reply niya. His simple message already made my day

Inayos ko na ang mga reviewer na dadalhin ko at inilagay sa bag ko. I sprayed my favorite perfume bago kinuha ang phone ko at susi ng kotse ko.

Dahil maaga pa, wala pa gaanong tao sa coffee shop, liban na lang sa mga taong labas pasok para sa take out order nila.

Naroon na si Arie at kumakain. Nasa table na rin ang ilan niyang reviewer.
"Good morning, Arie"

"Mm, morning, Louie. Nag order na ako, didn't had breakfast at home eh."

"Its okay."

"Do you want to order first? Bago tayo mag start?"

"I'll just order coffee"

"Okay,"

Pagkalapag ko ng gamit ko ay nagtungo na ako sa counter para sa order ko.

"Oh, I invited over the Leviste. Is that okay?"
