(Y/n)'s POV
"I miss you..." I said into the phone.
"I miss you too, but you know I can't come." I just sighed, resuming my math work. I heard Felix sigh on the other side of the line.
"Fuck corona." I mumbled. I heard his laugh, making me laugh along.
"I promise, quarantine will be done soon enough. We gotta stay in for the sake of everyone else."
"Whatever, you stay in your room playing Fortnite all day, quarantine or no quarantine."
"Touche." He chuckled. I could hear distinctive clicking noises from a controller.
"Y'know, you should be doing your school work too. This isn't an excuse to become a full time gamer." He whined at my words. I just rolled my eyes and continued on my work, moving on to English. Felix and I didn't talk for a while, but we took comfort in the other's presence. Soft music played in my room, while I could hear an occasional curse from Felix whenever he dies.
A couple hours passed, Felix and I still talking. We talked about post-quarantine plans, Fortnite kills, the guys, et cetera. Chan came into Felix's room for a bit and talked with us, and then Changbin came in and forced us all to speak in only English. The guys all seemed to be doing fine, which was a relief.
"I gotta go, Chan finished making dinner. Love you." He said.
"Love you too. Bye Felix." I hung up, already missing the human interaction, even if it was only through the phone. Living alone during this time kinda sucked. No one around, no contact with anyone. Just me and my dog, Coco. And the video chats and calls from Felix, but it wasn't the same as when he could come over and hang out.
My thoughts were interrupted by the doorbell ringing. Coco started barking at the door, and I stared at it in confusion. Who would come door to door during a global pandemic? Against my better judgement, I went and opened the door.
"Pizza delivery for Felix Lee." The man said. A wide smile spread across my face. I nodded, and the man gave me the pizza, plus another two boxes, before leaving. I closed the door and put the boxes down on the counter. The pizza was a large, heart-shaped pizza. The receipt had a long note on it. I took it off and read it.
One heart pizza, large, just cheese
One brownie, medium
Modifications: This is for my girlfriend. I can't see her because of this quarantine, but I wanted to keep up our tradition of pizza movie nights. I have an order of dog treats from the local pet shop, under Felix Lee, for her dog to enjoy too. If you could, can you please pick that up as well and deliver it?
Total- $22.99
Sale Tax- $1.15
Total with Tax- $24.14
Tip- $20
My smile wouldn't leave my face after reading. Coco was sniffing one of the boxes, obviously the one with the treats. I opened it up and gave her a treat before getting my dinner ready. I set up a ton of blankets, pillows, and my laptop on my bed, bringing the food onto the bed. I started a video chat with Felix, overwhelmingly happy. He responded immediately, surrounded by stuffed animals, blankets, and homemade pizza. His room was lit by some candles spread on the floor and dresser. I laughed at how cheesy he is. He laughed along before just staring at me with the biggest smile on his face.
"Do you like it?" Coco jumped up onto my bed, tail wagging, treat in her mouth.
"Coco sure does." I told him, my smile getting wider, if that's even possible.
"That's good enough for me. What do you wanna watch? We can do comedy, romance, horror, thrill-"
"Thank you Felix." I interrupted. He stopped and just stared at me for a moment, emotions swirling in his eyes.
"Anything for you." He said, making a kissy face at the end.
