Wasn't Supposed to Happen

TODOROKI'S POV
We stand there, shocked and unsure what to do.

I try to find the words to say. "Wh-," Before I know it, Bakugo has pushed past me sprinting towards the hole in the wall. He stands at the edge. I catch up to him and take a look for myself. She landed on the neighboring building on her back, she isn't moving.

He starts backing up probably to do something stupid.

"You won't make that jump!" I warn. He doesn't say anything. He sprints past me, taking a leap at the edge. I watch in anticipation. He uses his quirk to project himself further. He has a rough landing, but he makes it. He stands over her, frozen.

I create an ramp of ice connecting the two buildings and slide down. I kneel down beside her. She's breathing lightly. I push her hair out of her face. Her nose is bleeding.

I stand up and shove him. "What were you thinking?"

He scoffs. "Me? You told me to do it, asshole." He pushes me back a bit harder.

"You just had to get the win, huh?" I push back. "Even if it means practically killing her?" He breathes heavily, not looking at me. "Didn't work for Midoriya, so you decided to give it another shot, huh?"

He yells and shoves me harder. I fall on my backside, but get up just as quickly, fist prepped to take out his jaw.

"Enough!" Aizawa yells as he and the others reach the rooftop.

"Whoa, is she going to be okay?" Kirishima runs to her side.

"The medics are on their way. Nobody touch her." Aizawa warns. Kirishima's hesitant hands return to his side. Aizawa gets between us. "Congratulations, you won." His voice colder than usual. He joins Haze's side as the medic team arrives with the gurney. They lift her carefully and place her on top.

"She's going to be fine. I suggest you all head home. We'll meet again tomorrow." He announces.

"I-," I hear Bakugo start. "That wasn't supposed to happen." I narrow my eyes at him and get in his face.

"Well it did. I suggest you keep your distance from her." He doesn't even move or growl like he normally does. No defensive stance. He doesn't stop watching her as they leave the rooftop.
