As we sat in class I still had my bandages on under my clothes. The doctors said it would take a few days to fully heal, so I can't push myself too much.

I was sitting with Midoriya as we all waited for class to start.

"I thought you said we shouldn't make a habit of breaking ourselves?" He joked.

I laugh. "I think I might've jinxed us actually, because now we're even worse."

"You know I saw everyone on the news. They had footage of most of us outside of the stadium." He mentions.

"Yeah, they loved us!" Kaminari chimes in. "We're basically celebrities." He says trying to play it cool.

"Please, they cared about the pros fending off an attack on UA students." Jiro rolls her eyes at his arrogance. "If anyone is a celebrity it's Haze."

I sigh. "And now everyone knows I'm here." I'm not sure if that's a good thing. The school never mentioned to anyone that I was here, but now my name was plastered all over the news.

"Yeah, but who knows what would've happened if the teachers didn't show up?" Sero ponders.

Mineta panics and begins to shake. "Why would you say that? I'm going to pee myself just thinking about it!" He cries.

"Oh shut up! Grow a pair, loser!" Ah the sweet yells of Bakugo. Always a treat.

As we all sit and wait for class to start, Aizawa walks in still covered in bandages.

"Morning class." His speech muffled. I didn't expect him to be here. He was supposed to be in the hospital for a few more days.

"Mr. Aizawa!" Iida shouts. "I'm glad you're okay!"

"My well-being is irrelevant. What's more important is that your fight isn't over yet. The UA Sports Festival is about to start." He announces.

You can feel the excitement. I can't help but feel a bit bummed since I won't be participating. I wanted another opportunity to kick Shoto's ass.

"Wait, is it really such a good idea to hold the festival so soon after the villains snuck inside?" Jiro asks.

"Apparently the administration thinks this is a good way to show the threat has been handled and our school is safer than ever." His voice is more exhausted than ever. "Plus they're beefing up security. This event is a huge opportunity for all students at UA. It's not something we can cancel because of a few villains." A few? Dude, your face is broken.

"Our sports festival is one of the most watched events in the entire world." He continues. Izuku taps on my shoulder.

"Will you get to participate with your injuries?" He whispers.

I shake my head. "No, what about you?" His injuries seemed to be a lot better than before.

He nods. "I should be healed up by then. I really need to get scouted."

At lunch I meet up with Midnight. She wanted to talk to me about my role at the festival.

"You want me to do what?" I ask in disbelief.

"I know it seems tacky, but you standing side by side with pros will really put you in a positive light. Even after that news footage some people are still unsure about your being here. This is your chance to show them that you're an aspiring hero." She gleams.

"Can't I just sit with Aizawa in the commentator's box?" I whine.

She puts her hands on my shoulders. "Haze, you are so talented. You're lucky you don't even need to participate to get scouted. The pros want you and this way the public will too."

"And you're sure this will help?" I ask. She nods and pulls out my costume.

"I made sure they washed off Aizawa's blood." She cringes. "But I also got you something else." She pulls out a black gift bag with a red velvet bow.

I open it and inside is a black eye mask. She jumps with excitement.

"I knew you needed something else and this will look fantastic on you! Do you love it?"

I smile. "Thank you Midnight." She hugs me tightly, causing a bit of pain in my ribs but I don't make it obvious.

"You're so welcome sweetie." She sits next to me and gives me a look. "Now, tell me about those boys."

I snort. "What boys?"

She narrows her eyes and smirks. "Don't play coy. Shoto Todoroki, Eijiro Kirishima, and that fireball, Katsuki Bakugo."

I laugh and shake my head. "Shoto and I are just friends."

She smirks. "So the other two are more than?" She presses her fingertips together. "My, my, darling. I'm never one to judge. I too enjoy a bit of ménage a tr-,"

I wave my hands. "No, no!" I laugh. "It's not like that with them either. Kirishima is just a naturally kind person and Bakugo is, well,"

She smiles. "Is absolutely enamored by you."

The heat rises to my face. "What do you mean?"

She laughs. "Oh don't act so surprised. He's loud, cocky and rude, but he spends hours making sure you're okay. Seems a bit out of character if you ask me."

I shrug and feel the heat increase a bit. I can't remember the last time I gossiped about a boy. "I don't know. He's fun and he treats me like there's nothing wrong with me."

She claps her hands with glee. "Tell me more!"

I laugh at her excitement. "There's nothing more to tell. I mean maybe you're right.

"Of course I am! You're amazing!" She nudges me. She's honestly the best. "Do you like him?"

I shrug. "I don't know, I mean maybe." I do like him, but now just isn't a good time. "We haven't known each other for very long."

"That's okay." She smiles. "You don't have to know. You'll feel it. As someone who can claim to be knowledgeable in matters of the heart and body, time is not the only indicator of feeling." She stands up and extends her hand to me. "Now come on, let's pick out a makeup look for you to wear at the festival." Oh boy.
