Go Beyond (Bakugo x OC)

Holy Crap

HAZE'S POV
I sit in one of the boxes provided for the heroes in the stands. I was able to meet other pros who were working security. I can't believe how much they liked me. It was like something out of a movie.

Present Mic announces the beginning of the festival and my class walks out. I cheer for them as they move across the field. I have no doubt they'll do amazing, but Bakugo really did throw them under the bus earlier. Everyone is going to be after them.

As all of the classes line up in the center, Midnight stands on stage with a velvet flogger in hand.

"She always looks so good." Lady remarks in an irritated tone as she stuffs her face with food.

"Come on Lady, we gotta go watch the entrance." Kamui says. She groans and stands up.

"We'll catch you later Haze!" She says as they leave. I wave goodbye and turn back towards the games.

"And now for the student pledge, Katsuki Bakugo!"

I cheer loudly and I'm sure everyone heard me as I was the only one. He casually walks to the mic.

"I just want to say," He starts. Please don't be too insulting. "I'm gonna win." I take a breath of relief. Not bad. The students boo him as he walks off but he pays no attention. He's incredibly focused, not his usually loud and cocky self.

As Midnight announces the first challenge, an obstacle course, they line up at the start. I hear the door open to our box but I can't help but watch the others. As the buzzer sounds they all race down the crowded hallway. A large icy blast goes off and covers the outer walls. Nice one, Shoto. Many students are stuck as most of 1-A flies over them.

You can see Bakugo's face is full of anger as he yells. He's such a dork.

They stop dead in their tracks as a crowd of large robots stand in their way. Shoto moves past them with ease, freezing their feet causing them to lose balance.

Present Mic hypes him up over the loud speaker. I watch as Kirishima pounds his way through one of the robots, along with a student of a similar quirk family. Bakugo flies over the bots with ease along with Sero and Tokoyami.

I'm on the edge of my seat as they make their way to the next obstacles.They get to the minefield and Bakugo flies past Shoto but fights him in the process.

"Stop fighting you idiots!" I can't help but shout. A large explosion goes off and Izuku flies over the rest towards the lead.

"Yes!" I shout. He sets off another blast and sprints towards the lead, crossing the finishing line. Oh Bakugo's not going to like that. He came in third.

I can see the anger in his face.

"Are you always this quick to change who you're cheering for?" A deep voice asks making me jump.

"Holy crap!" I can't help but express both my intimidation and excitement as he stands next to me. "Endeavor?" I ask standing from my seat.

He looks down on me as I take a few steps back. He's huge and covered in flames. His face is incredibly intimidating and probable puts people in a state of unease if they stare too long.

"You're Hazaezal Jones." He states. Most would've said that sentence as a question, but he announced it like a declaration.

I nod. "And you're Shoto's father."
