The night went by way too quickly. I fell asleep as soon as my body hit the bed, feeling only seconds go by before we were forced to wake up. I can tell I wasn't the only one. As we got dressed, the girls were half asleep. In fact when we met up with the group, I was worried half of them were asleep. I was told to wear my costume to training for obvious reasons.

"Good morning class." Aizawa starts. "Today we begin the training camp to increase your strengths. Our goal is to increase your skills exponentially so that each of you earns your provisional license." Those words wake up everyone. A license? To practice hero work? "This will allow you to face the dangers that fester in the darkness." With all that's happened this semester, it's no surprise they want us to be able to use our quirks. He tosses a ball to Katsuki. "Look alive, Bakugo. Try throwing that for me."

"Yeah sure. Like in the fitness test." He says moving forward. He hasn't looked at me since last night.

"That's right. When you first started school your record was 705.2 meters. Let's see if you've improved." 705? Geezus. The class cheers him on.

"I've got this. GO TO HELL!" He yells as it explodes out of his hands. Who says that?

"709.6." Aizawa announces.

"That's it? That's kind of disappointing." Sero shrugs. I can see Katsuki freeze up.

"You've had a single semester at U.A. And due to your various experiences, all of you have definitely improved. But those improvements have been limited to mental prowesses and technical skill, with a slight increase in stamina along the way. Your quirks really have grown all that much, not on a fundamental level. That's why were now focusing on improving your powers. This will be so hard you'll feel like your dying." I groan to myself and look at the sky. Oh boy.

He guides us to a large clearing. I am told to go to the middle, the farthest away from everyone.

"So what, I'm just supposed to fire off into the sky?" I ask.

"It's simple. Ignite completely, continuing to heat up until we say." Aizawa shrugs.

I raise my eyebrows. "Really?"

"You're going to overheat, I know. But you have to break yourself today." He steps back and sets a spike in the ground. "This will monitor your temperatures. Your max heat has at Dorsey was 6100. Go higher."

"I only reached that high because they were torturing me." I scoff.

"I know. Now do it willingly." He steps back and nods. I look around at the other students in the clearing. They're a good distance away but it's going to get hotter for sure. I sigh and ignite my body. "Hotter." I increase my heat. "Hotter." I grit my teeth and continue. "Are you even trying? Hotter!" I push harder. "Do I need to get a knife and start carving you up? Hotter!"

"Ahhh!" I scream, my flames rising, everything is bright and I can't hear a thing as the flames roar past my ears. But I keep going, my skin starting to take notice of the extreme heat. It hurts. As I keep going higher I scream. Scream like I haven't done since Dorsey.

KATSUKI'S POV

"Dammit!" I groan as my explosion mimics the previous one. I stick my hands back in the hot water. It stings, a lot, and my arms are starting to ache from the continuous use of my quirk. Class B arrives next to me as I take a quick glance before setting off another one. They're all staring in both astonishment and fear past me. That's when I notice the screaming. Its horrific sounding. I turn to that direction and see a fire with flames surpassing the height of the trees. It's almost too bright to look at. Is that what they have her doing? If she keeps going like that she'll pass out. Surely Aizawa knows that, that's probably what he wants. Still though, it's not the most comforting thing to hear.
