Paired up against Deku? This couldn't have been better if it was planned. Finally I'll have the chance to show that nerd I'm number one. It'll be clear once I'm pounding his face bloody.

"Bakugo!" Iida starts. "I know we got off on the wrong foot, but I urge we put that aside and focus on working together." He pumps his fist.

I roll my eyes. "Shut up, four eyes. Just stay out of my way."

He freaks, ranting to me and All Might, and just about anyone who will listen. I try to drone him out, focusing on my need to beat Deku. He stands by the entrance, sweating through his suit as Uraraka talks to him. What an absolute idiot. He can barely think about a woman without physically cringing.

I see someone moving behind them down the tunnel. It's her.

"Oh, hey there's Haze!" Kirishima yells. "I was worried she got los-," He stops mid sentence. His eyes are wide and his mouth hangs open like a total dork.

She looks at the ground as she approaches the group. Nobody is saying anything, they're all looking at her. I don't blame them. Sure I had already seen the suit, but the shock factor is still there. And in the sun, the vinyl shines, accentuating every curve. I feel almost disrespectful for looking, so I look off to the ground, trying to seem unbothered by her presence.

"Finally!" All Might breaks the silence. "I decided, in all my wisdom, Hazaezal will participate."

She looks up and smiles, giving a small wave to the group. "Hey guys." She says sheepishly.

Deku sweats even more. "Wow, Hazaeza- I mean Haze! You're costume is, uh," He says quickly.

"It looks so good!" Uraraka squeals. "See Yaoyorozu, I told you it was awesome." The girls file around her sending her compliments.

"Wow! This composition of this material is amazing! And it looks so good on you." Yaoyorozu says, feeling her arms. Their touch not bothering her in the slightest. Noted.

"Now, because the teams are uneven with Hazaezal here, she will go last and will go up against the top student, alone." Alone? I crack my knuckles and smile. Fighting the infamous new girl alone and winning would solidify my claim of being number one. "Now if you'll all follow me." He starts marching further into the grounds.

"Dude," Kirishima starts, tapping my shoulder. "When you said you saw the costume, you didn't say she looked like that."

I shrug, trying to think nothing of it. "It's just a girl in a costume."

"She's not just any girl." Kaminari chimes in, eyeing her.

I roll my eyes. "Quit your pathetic drooling, extras! Aren't we supposed to be following All Might?" I yell to everyone. They all look at me and I start to follow him, irritated by their ogling.

"Hey Bakugo!" I hear her call me. I turn around and she catches up, leaving the group of girls behind. Really? She's leaving their comforting presence to be around me? Does that mean we're friends now?

"Um, hey." I nod, continue to walk with her and Kirishima in tow.

"Great costume, Haze!" He smiles giving her a thumbs up.

"Thanks. It's a bit much, but it's growing on me." She shrugs, rubbing at her arms.

"Well, something's growing in me." That purple headed loser joins us. "Name's Mineta, I've got big sticky balls." He smiles, tugging on his head. We all stop. Her eyes are wide and she's not saying anything.

"Come on Mineta, don't be weird about it." Kirishima nudges him.

He pushes him aside and circles her. I can feel my knuckles pop against my skin. He's making her so uncomfortable and its pissing me off. I can see IcyHot start to walk towards us, probably to do exactly what I was thinking, but in a less violent manner. "A costume like this must be pretty hard to get in and out of. Luckily I have small hands, I can help reach in those tigh-," He goes to touch her, big mistake.
