Steve's POV
Its already a month passed since we hide our marriage to all persons that we know. At buwan na rin ang lumipas na hindi siya nakikita ng pamilya niya.
Hindi ko alam pero umaayon yata sa amin ang pagkakataon. Dahil sa nakalipas na isang buwan, masaya pa rin kami at mas tumitibay ang pagsasama namin.
And now, we're finally here, watching Lorice and Ford being happy on their wedding day.
And their wedding has a nice weather. They look so happy. And we're also very happy while watching them habang ikinakasal sila.
The place of their wedding is very beautiful, and relaxing too.
Kapag natapos na angkasal nila, we'll stay here and have a vacation. Just the two of us.
"By the power vested in me, you are now Mr. and Mrs. Tan. Live with God. Serve him, and live together with love and peace. " the pastor said.
"You may kiss the bride."
And yes, as what he was waited, his lady love is forever his. I'm so happy for Ford, for the two of them. As he kissed her bride, we all give claps and applause for them.
"Ang cute nilang tingnan." rinig kong sabi ni Ellaine habang nandito kami.
Napangiti na lang ako.
I hold Ellaine's hand, the reason why she looked at me. She smiled, and I did the same thing.
"Ang ganda ng sunset." she said. At itinuon ang mga mata niya sa papalubog na araw. Yes, its beautiful.
"And you're prettier-- no, more beautiful." nakangiti kong sinabi.
Kasal na si Drag, pati si Ford at alam namin iyon. But they all didnt know that I'm already married with the girl I loved. Hindi ko alam kung paano ko sasabihin sa kanila ang bagay na ito.
Pero, naisip ko na rin naman ito... I'll find a perfect timing to tell them all if what's our real status.
AFTER celebrating the wedding, nagpaalam ako sa kanila na hindi muna kami babalik sa Manila. Mananatili muna kaming dalawa ni Ellaine rito sa probinsyang ito, to enjoy this vacation together.
I want my wife to experience so much happiness, and I will give this to her now. Gusto kong mas lalo siyang sumaya.
Dahil iyon ang isa sa mga misyon ko sa buhay, ang pasayahin ang asawa ko.
I will make her forget her problems and heart aches na naramdaman niya with her family. So, she's here, and will be enjoying with me.
Here we stayed in a beach resort in Panglao. And as we discussed, we will visit their places here in this province randomly. And here we discovered their beautiful hidden treasures.
Ellaine and I visited their museum, and we saw some pages of their history. We also visited the Blood compact monument, where what they call "Sandugo" between Miguel Lopez de Legazpi and Datu Sikatuna marked the friendship, and later colonization, of the Filipinos under the Spaniards.
We also saw their old churches, and the one that I really like is the church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception and commonly known as Baclayon Church, which is a Roman Catholic Church in Baclayon.
And with that, I conclude that their history makes their province more magnificent.
They also offer more beautiful spots, such as the country's Tarsier and Wildlife Sanctuary. And dito sa sanctuary, we saw the tiny, monkey-looking, wide-eyed creatures. Dahil kilala pala ang Visayas for having these kinds of creatures.
Pinuntahan din namin ang Hanging Bridge. This foot long bridge is made of bamboo and steel that offers a perfect view of the river and its nature. Natawa lang ako dahil nang marating na namin ang Hanging Bridge na matatagpuan dito, hindi talaga binibitiwan ni Ellaine ang kamay ko. But, I like it.
And, we're given a chance to have a cruise through one of the cleanest rivers in the country, and full our stomachs with a buffet of some of the best Filipino dishes here in Loboc River floating restaurant.
It is one of the most popular tourist spots here in Bohol, at hindi namin iyon pinalampas. We didnt regret either, dahil napakasulit naman.
Why? Because it brings two of the best things in their province, nature and good food. Also, maganda rin siya kapag gabi. We decided na magpagabi rito, and we saw the shining stars and flying fireflies. Nakadagdag pa sa romantic feels ang buwan.
The dinner is really good, and entertaining. Dahil may nagse-serenade din. Pero hindi ko alam kung ano ang pumasok sa isip ko at hiniram ko yung mic sa nagse-serenade.
And, what I did is... I sing a song for my wife. At kinilig naman ang lahat ng naroon. I'm sure that all the guests will never forget this, including me, Ellaine, at syempre, yung ginawa ko.
The next days, nagpunta naman kami sa Danao Adventure Park and Sagbayan Peak. And the ultimate thrill is here in this Adventure park. This features attractions and extreme sports activities na nagbigay talaga ng thrill sa asawa ko.
Hindi lang iyon, this place has a nice and stunning view, and Ellaine likes it.
Sagbayan Peak also gives you a total 'WOW!'. It has viewing deck, ans there we saw the beauty of Chocolate hills, which is one of their best spots too. And we played like kids at the Kids’ Town park.
Nag-enjoy rin si Ellaine sa Butterfly Dome. Napakagandang tingnan ng mga paru-parong naroon. Pero, mas gumanda iyon, because my wife is there. She makes the whole place more beautiful in my eyes.
And before we go back in the resort, we visited the very famous Chocolate Hills in Carmen. At nang magpunta kami rito, naalala ko na nakatira ang mamang at papang ni Lorice rito sa Carmen.
Pinagtawanan lang ako ng asawa ko nang papaakyat pa lang kami sa hagdan. As I look on it, its very tiring. At hindi ako nagkamali, nakakapagod nga.
But, when you reach the destination, the breath-taking view will surprise you. And I swear, its really nice. Napakalamig ng hangin. It is very refreshing and relaxing. Now, no wonder why there are many tourists are here.
After all that, bumalik na kami sa Panglao, where the beach resort we're lodging is here. At dito, we experienced a Boracay-like paradise. It also has white sand, blue waters and the nightlife that make this one of the best days for us.
At sa pagbabakasyon namin, we made memories, and take many pictures, even videos. I take many pictures and stolen shots of her. Dahil, gusto kong palaging nakikita ang ngiti niya, even if its stolen.
We did many things here, and I made her happy. And that makes our stay more beautiful.
On our remaining days, we both enjoy the sun on the fine white beach of Panglao island. And now, the sunset is just mesmerizing. Mas ginawa naman nitong romantic ang mga nalalabi naming araw sa pagbabakasyon sa napakagandang lugar na ito.
"I hope you enjoyed our stay here, my Ellaine." I said, while hugging her.
"I totally enjoyed, Steve. Lalo na at kasama kita." she said. "Salamat, dahil lagi mo akong pinapasaya."
"That's one of my roles in your life, my Ellaine. To make you always happy." and I kissed her forehead, and carressed her hair. "I love you."
"I love you too."
And as the last sunset for our vacation appears, I sweetly claimed her lips. And she gladly accept it. And for me, it's one of the most memorable part of my life.
To be with your wife during sunset, while listening on the sound of waves and beautiful view that the beach offers on our eyes.
