Chapter 2: With a gold heart

Nanlaki lang ang mga mata ko sa sinabi ni Axel. What the hell? Did he just save my butt from another day of detention after what I did to him?

"totoo ba ang sinasabi ni Axel? Stacey, Margaux, and Hannah?" The furious professor asked while looking at them one at a time.

"Hell no sir! I saw everything! WE... saw everything." lumingon naman si Stacey sa mga kasamahan namin sa detention room na naka tingin lang mula pa kanina. "Right guys?" She desperately plead for the approval of everyone in the room but tumingin naman ang mga tao sa grupo nila Axel, tinaasan lang sila ng kilay ni Axel and they knew exactly what is the safest answer to say.

"Totoo ang sinabi ni Axel sir" naka yuko na sabi ng isang babae sa bandang likod.  Napanganga lang si Stacey. With dispair in her eyes she also looked down hopelessly being that the odds were against her. Kakaiba talaga ang kapangyarihan ng isang Axel Del Valle.

"See? You should be punishing them sir, make them clean the toilet or something!" Zane suggested while laughing hysterically.

"NO!" sabay na tumutol ang mga babaeng kanina pa naka tayo sa harapan ni sir Hans.

"Sir I swear we are telling the truth!"

"I saw it sir, paniwalaan niyo naman kami" with pleading eyes they looked at the professor hoping that they can convince him to believe them.

"ENOUGH! I don't want to hear another word from the three of you and I hope you are ready to be grounded because your parents will be called first thing tomorrow." A furious Mr. Hans exclaimed.

Then the three bitches turned my way with death in their eyes. Tinignan nila ako ng napaka sama, kung nakakapatay lang ang pag titig siguro pinag lalamayan na ako ngayon. I just gave them the classic smirk of victory.

May bigla namang tumabi saakin, tumingin ako sa gilid ko at nakita ko si Axel. Naka tingin lang siya sa pakikipag sagutan nila Stacey kay Mr. Hans. I felt a sinking feeling in my gut that I owe this man for covering me and that's the last thing I want. My life is already troublesome enough, and getting involved with these people means a cluster fuck of problems.

"Why the hell did you cover up for me?" dineretsong tanong ko sa kanya. I showed no emotions on my face and surprisingly so did he. Tinignan niya lang ako at tyaka tumalikod at nag lakad palayo, what the hell is wrong with this man? Didn't he just hear me ask him a question? Sumunod naman sa kanya si Zane at Cayden . "Hoy!" tawag ko muli.

"Oh, for fucks sake can't you just say thankyou?" inis niyang sagot saakin tapos tumalikod at nag lakad na muli palayo. I didn't even try to stop him again. Ang gulo gulo niyang tao, kanina lang sobrang mapang asar siya saakin tapos ngayon bigla bigla nalang umiiba ang ugali, bipolar ba siya or may sakit lang talaga sa utak?

"Hoy, amazona, what kind of stunt was that?" A voice behind me asked, a voice I definitely knew. I signed and turned around.

"Asher." I coldly answered, lumapit siya saakin at tyaka ginulo ang buhok ko. Hindi na siya sumama kina Axel kasi sabay naman kami umuuwi. Kahit masyadong sakit sa ulo si Asher mahal ako neto kahit half siblings lang kami.

"Did you just fucking call me "Amazona"? I gave him the deadliest glare ever. Tumawa naman ang mokong.

"Ayan na naman umuusok na naman ilong mo! Kaya ka palagi napapa-trouble eh kasi napaka init ng ulo mo. Relax ka lang, sis." inirapan ko lang sya at nag lakad na patungo sa parking lot. "hey, wait up!" sabi niya sabay sa pag habol sa akin.

"Anong problema nung magaling mong kaibigan? Bakit niya sinabi 'yon?" Tanong ko sa kanya referring to THAT GUY.

"Ewan ko din. That's the first time he covered an ordinary person, not to mention someone who just punched him in the face. Have you guys grown close or something?" tanong ni Asher sakin at kunot noo ko siyang tinignan.
