"(Y/N)..." A voice softly called, I hummed sleepily turning over snuggling closer to the source of heat next to me, I gave a content sigh not having felt this comfortable or warm in a LONG time. I heard a muffled chuckle and a slight pressure on my head,

"Wake up sleepy-head..." The voice tenderly said, "Kix is going to be here in a few minutes."

I made some attempt to communicate to my pillar of warmth that I had no intention of waking up but I'm pretty sure it just came out as muffled nonsense when said pillar of warmth began to move, however, I lazily put my arms around it to keep it next to me. I couldn't feel what I was hugging but I could hear a heartbeat, steady and comforting. I felt myself drifting into sleep once again when I heard another voice chuckle from somewhere else in my room,

"Boy, she sure looks comfy." This other voice stated,

"Not a word of this to anyone Kix..." The voice closest to me ordered, "I'd never hear the end of it."

"Don't worry Rex, us medics are good at keeping confidential information." Kix laughed, wait! Kix was in my room! Rex...ohhh no!! My eyes flew open to see that my fears were correct, I had my arms wrapped around Rex tightly and my head was currently resting on his chest. Kix noticed I woke up and the look of sheer embarrassment on my face must've been one for the record book because the poor medic could barely contain his laughter. Rex followed Kix's eyes down to where I was his breath hitching slightly. I noticed he was staring at me and quickly got off of him, allowing both of us to sit up. He looked at me with a blush on his face giving me a small smile,

"Good morning (Y/N)," He greeted, I blushed heavily as I looked into his honey-colored eyes,

"Mor-morning Rex...Umm, sorry for squashing against you like that..."

I looked slightly behind Rex to see Kix had moved away slightly to give us some privacy, I gave Rex a small smile as I leaned my head on his shoulder gently,

"Thank you...for staying with me...it means a lot."

Rex nodded gently patting my head, "You're welcome cyar'ika..."

There it was again, that word...it made my stomach feel weak and my body felt like it was full of butterflies, Rex got up and left leaving me in Kix's care until we returned to the Resolute.

"Echo! Fives!!" I cried, rushing over to the clones who wasted no time in hugging me tightly while scolding me,

"Don't you EVER scare me like that again..."  Echo shakily whispered kissing my head, "you had us all worried sick."

"I know...I'm sorry," I whispered into his armor, Fives practically squeezed the life outta me after Echo finally let go,

"Ooof! Its ok Fives...I'm ok."

Fives shook slightly his head resting on my collarbone, "If you ever do that again I swear..."

I gently smiled running my hands through Five's hair touched that they were so worried, "It's ok Fives, I'm not going anywhere."

After calming the rest of them down we all went to the mess hall together, Echo tightly holding my hand the whole way,

"So...you can't feel?" Fives asked once we sat down, I cast my eyes down at my plate

"No...I can feel pressure, but nothing else it's like my touch senses are numbed over."

Fives gave me a sympathetic smile reaching down and squeezing my hand as if to tell me I'd be ok, I leaned my head on his shoulder grateful for the support. The doors opened once more to reveal Rex, Anakin, and Ashoka walking in so I waved to get Rex's attention, his amazing eyes met mine and I couldn't hide the light blush that dusted across my cheeks as he walked over with his food Anakin and Ashoka following suite.
