Clone Wars Rex x Demi-dragon reader

Umbara: Decent

(3rd POV)

 So imagine after being run into the ground by forces of both men and demons, your dead tired, hungry, emotionally as well as physically aching, and you suddenly see this ENORMOUS dragon appear.....how would you react? Well..........Kix and the others all reacted the way you'd expect, they panicked at first, until he saw that it had Rex, now at first he might have been MORE worried than before but when the dragon placed him gently on the ground before nudging him back towards him and the others, Kix began to feel a fraction of the worry fade. Another behavior that made the dragon instantly recognizable to him was the fact that they turned to further shelter the men from the oncoming missiles, 

"We-when did she learn how to do THAT!?" Kix breathlessly asked as he lowered his blaster to help Rex, who even though (Y/N) helped heal him....was still quite sore.

"I don't know.............one second she could barely move....and then.........I-I don't know how it happened." 

Kix and Rex startled ever so slightly as they saw (Y/N's) giant form dash out, her giant feet crushing and squishing monsters as she swiped downward, her claws easily slicing through the metal and energy fields of the tanks, her giant eyes narrowing as she looked down at the Shadow Casters, 

"Bi air falbh trioblaidean agus leigidh mi leat fuireach...".(Be gone troublemakers and I will let you live.)

Most of the Shadow Casters did the smart thing and ran......not wanting to be vaporized as their monsters and demons had been, but a few remained,

"Do you honestly think we will be so easily scared into submission creature of light!?" One of the Shadow Casters yelled earning a small snort from (Y/N) in return, "we have endured your kind for long enough! You are not the only one capable of such feats!" 

Rex and Kix watched with wide eyes as the Shadow Caster summoned a dragon of their own! But this one was solid black and appeared to be blurred and out of focus like they were viewing it through a broken screen of some sort..... (Y/N) bore her teeth, giving a loud, dangerous snarl. The shadow dragon did the same before it disappeared! It then reappeared behind (Y/N) smirking as it looked down at the clones, it's great mouth opened with fire at the ready causing the battered 501st to scramble for cover, Rex noticed Tup was pinned down in an area with no way for him to get out of range and was about to yell for him to run when (Y/N) body-slammed the dragon out of the way! Her eyes now glowing with rage as she took to using her teeth and claws. She clamped down on the other dragons' neck her teeth sinking into the flesh with ease, blood spurt out from the open wound as the other dragon cried out in pain, thrashing around and managing to cut her across the chest with a quick swipe. (Y/N) let go rearing back on two legs as she roared, but quickly recovered as she delivered a headbutt that sent the dragon sliding into a nearby tree, the sound of the tree snapping and breaking seemed a bit louder to Rex this time as he felt the impact in his very bones, 

"Nightmare Dragon....Exploding Violet!!" The shadow dragon huffed spewing bursts of exploding fire! 

(Y/N) held up one wing wincing as the fire felt like exploding knives against her wings before she gave a single flap, sending a cloud of smoke to temporarily blind the shadow dragon before clubbing it in the face with her tail, it acted as a barbed whip of sorts as she managed to trip the other dragon just enough that she could bite it's neck once more, only this time, she had used a trick she'd learned from studying Asmodeus' demon magic and infused the bite with the spell Last Ember.......if you were bitten by a demon or even another demi-dragon with this spell......you'd burn from the inside out, it's not a pleasant way to go......the shadow dragon gave a shrill roar causing Rex and the others to cover their ears some crying out in pain at the sound. Rex looked up to watch as a glow started in the belly of the shadow dragon and worked its way up, the eyes of the dragon burning as smoke poured from its eye sockets, but it still managed in its last moments to rake its claws across (Y/N's) chest and face! (Y/N) stumbled back shaking her head and gave a cry of pain then added a blast of fire for good measure as the dragon burnt away to nothingness, the Shadow Caster that had summoned the dragon fell out of the trees and Rex could only assume that he was dead from the way that the others fled. (Y/N) turned back to look at the others her left eye closed as it had a fresh, bleeding gash over it, and her chest was bleeding quite profusely as well, Rex gasped as she seemed shaky and unsteady on her feet, but they still had tanks that had been re-enforced by several more. So despite wanting to check on (Y/N) Rex put his helmet back on and motioned for the men to follow him,
