Xander
I pulled on the two lads' hairs and dragged them down to an empty class, bolting the door from behind. When my eyes finally landed on Ruby, I felt my gut and muscles get all tensed up for immediate course of action. I knew everything that has been going on with him and Isabelle, but I never took it as something this serious.
"Whoa, relax man." Ruby taunted with a nervous smile. He still had the guts to smile. He still has the fucking guts to taunt me. He's lucky we're not alone in this school or those teeth would be gone for good.
"And you!" I hissed in disgust, pulling hard at Sandra's hair at the same time. "You two have always been slipping from my grip. I've always been covering for you guys...but this ends now!"
The guy in my grasp suddenly burst into another laughter. I could barely contain my anger anymore. Apart from harassing students, these two have always made my life a mess. I can remember vividly months ago when he was once a coordinator like us, each time I think of that, I can't help but feel ashamed. He was supposed to stand for the students and not stand on the students.
Yes, I've been ignoring all informations on his secretive behavior. This guy was the most trusted person on my list and yet, the tables turned around huh. He really is a sneaky backstabber. His purpose all these while was just to sneak information from us, indirectly molest students and worse, do everything behind our backs. I regret that very day I didn't listen to my instincts. I sensed something fishy was going on but paid no attention to the 'false' alarms. I just wonder, how many more students have fallen into his trap?
The adrenaline in my blood kept rising, and I could feel myself itching for blood. I let him get away with him once, twice, third...and the sixteenth! I won't let him get away the seventeenth time! Worse, this person in particular is none other than Isabelle we're talking about. The very one that I won't even let my colleagues lay a hand on.
I groaned at that thought and tightened my grasp on their neck. I watched coldly as Sandra was pleading for the intake of air, whereas Ruby was showing visible fear now. But that wasn't enough. I needed them to feel pain. I want them to feel what they've made their victims go through all these years, even if it means death.
Then, the worst happened.
I could feel my fingers turning swiftly to claws. I groaned more as the left side of my eye was flickering to a deep crimson colour. I didn't want to change. I didn't want to break the promise I made either - that of drinking from live preys. I didn't want to kill because of a careless decision. These two are seriously testing the waters. If only I could amend the past somehow.
My claws dug into their skin, making them whine in pain and hiss in agony. "You feel that? That's nothing compared to what you've done."
"W-what are you doing?" said the shivering blonde girl in my right arm. It's so funny how she was cowering now but would look so intimidating in front of everyone. I'm glad someone gave her a piece of her mind earlier.
The thought made me wear a small smile, but that smile only lasted for a second. A small growl of satisfaction left my lips involuntarily as the scent of their fear reached my nostrils.
"A-alexander." The way he stuttered made me realize that he had seen me. He had seen the real me. Okay, that finalizes everything. I've been giving myself excuses not to hurt a fly but now he has given me no option than to do this.
As my teeth retracted into fangs, ready to attack, a familiar voice stopped me midway.
"Self control, Hunters." The redheaded girl cooed behind me, caressing my shoulders in soothing circles. "Let the losers go."
