Someone help! It's at the moment you'd badly want to use magic to run but you can't.
Gosh.
What do I do now?
"You know what doctor, I feel great...Millennium great! I just need to go home please!". I whispered in a form of plea once the doctor was near my bedside. I could've just cast a spell on the doctor but with Xander in the same room, that's impossible.
"You'd be on your way once you take your pills Isabelle". Xander cut in from across the room with a look of concern on his face.
Why's he so good at pretending?!
"Uh uh, I'm kind of allergy to medicines actually". I shook my head and attempted to stand up but Xander blocked me somehow. Like what the hell?!
"I said no!". I spat out at him.
I expected him to give up and leave annoyed but he still stood there not moving.
Ah jeez..maybe that doctor's under his spell, who knows?
"Why you so scared of me?". He folded his arms and didn't look away from me for a moment. I could see some suspicions creeping to his face slowly and that's the last thing I want him to do, especially in this kind of place. "I've noticed that you've been very distant and cold to me recently".
Again, why's he good at pretending?!
"I-I'm not...". I quickly answered and looked besides him.
"Okay then, prove it by taking your pills right now...in front of me". He suggested with a cunning smile.
He's finally got me there...
I'm so screwed up here...
"X-xander....I'm better off without those stuffs!". I exclaimed and stomped my feet breaking the tensed air around us.
"But you didn't say you won't do it?". He replied.
I knew what he was insinuating here..
And I can't risk that...
Maybe a play for a play won't hurt...
"Fine, hand me the tumbler and I've prove that I'm not scared of you handsome". I muttered with the little confidence I had and stretched out my hand patiently.
He stared at my hand for a while before handing me the glass.
Now or never.
I chuckled at myself at how stupid he was for thinking I'd actually take it.
"Oops". I muttered as I let go of the tumbler carefully from my thumb.
"Careful". He said in surprise and caught it just before it could touch the ground.
Seriously what is he not good at?
I'm doomed now.
I don't want him suspicious either.
Without a word, I cupped the glass in my palms and shot him a glare.
He didn't seem to react to that other than give me an encouraging smile.
Hmm.
Just as my lips touched the glass, I stood up and tried running away briskly.
He still wouldn't stop chasing me either!
