Chapter Forty One- He's all mine

Isabelle's POV

Agreeing with Minuet to allow him follow me anywhere I go- including school- was a very BAD IDEA. I still regret letting him tag along with me!

Now I know why he was giving me that playful smile when we were strolling.

What a flirt.

He said I was the one to give him headaches but here he is, giving me a taste of hell!

He knows what he's doing- but he prefers to not stay low, far away from those girls! I thought I made it clear at home that he should keep his hands off them!

Both of us entered my classroom- well not exactly, because that would look super suspicious.

First, I came in trying my best to look calm and nerdy as always, and then sat on my desk before giving Minuet a sign to come in after some minutes.

It took my whole strength not to make a sound or give a death glare to Minuet and his admirers- so I won't draw attention to myself from the meanies.

If your wondering how Minuet hid his ears then you don't have to anymore because we've got that all fixed. Minuet really surprised me big time- he never told me he could shift completely into a human without having cat ears and tail, until now.

To be honest, Minuet is a very attractive and hot guy, especially in his full human form, but that doesn't change the fact he's my partner of course.

I can't feel something for him.

That's like...forbidden.

"If that doesn't change that fact, then why do you wanna badly kill those girls swooning over him within a second?".

"What the! How the hell did you get in my head, Minuet!"

"Oh boy, I'm your conscience- the inner you silly, not Minuet".

"Awkward...how did you answer and why now all these years?".

"....".

"Your powers awakened me- not that I was dead or anything, but there was a wall between us the whole time".

"Okay, it sounds funny talking to myself once again. Is this something kind of skill or something? ".

"Yes, more like a gift. Before anyone notices the look on your face, I'd leave you now, but before I go- stop drooling before anyone catches you".

"I'm not drooling!".

Why the hell would I be drooling...

Raising my head a little, I noticed that Minuet had been able to make it through the flocks, and gone to a seat not too far from mine.

But it wasn't long before the classroom burst into all manners of gossips and murmurs- especially from the girls.

I don't know why, but that made a knot in my stomach.

Could I be jealous?

Nah, that's not possible.

Why do I feel like-

"Oh my gosh! Have you seen the new student?!". One whisper rang in my ears from behind me. Oh no, not those words. "He's like a sexy model that walked out from a movieeeee!".

Hold it in.

"He's all mine once the class room's over!". Another squealed from my left. "I'm gonna take him out on a tour and then boom, he's mine!".
