My eyes snapped open almost immediately, and something moist touched my cheeks, specifically tears. Judging from the dried smeared tears and salivas on my cheeks and lips, it seemed like I've been crying for a very long time.
I shivered at the strange encounter and magical revelation I had in the vision. Everything seemed so real, especially her scent and touch.
I mean, dreams are dreams right?
She can't really be gone, can she?
The word gone rang in my ears like a bell, and I couldn't help but burst into tears. That explains all the craziness and hallucinations I've been having for the past few years now, It finally makes some sense for once. I wasn't normal.
I'm I even a human in this case?
I hugged my knees tightly, swinging back and forth with so many emotions and questions flowing at the same time.
I stared at my reflection in the standing mirror from the corner of my bed side and wasn't surprised to find my eyes blue again. I think I could get used to that.
Her words rang in my ears again:
"Follow the black cat".
"Make wise decisions".
Could that black cat be part of this too...?
What does a cat got to do with this?
Wait - is that why it's been following me the whole time?
Now it all makes sense.
Should I perhaps tell mum about this...?
No.
I trust nobody.
Not those two.
Not in this kind of situation that is...
I clenched my fist and unclenched my fists, staring outside the open windows, expecting the black cat to return--- but no, an hour has passed, and another, then another---but nothing happened.
The time was already at the evenings, and I needed to rest for tomorrow's head aches anyways even though I've had more than enough of my sleep.
My stomach grumbled at the thought of food, making me to groan in hunger. I guess my stomach agrees to that too. That dream pretty much messed up my head and stomach.
"I just wish there were fruits around...especially my favorite...I could really be filled with those". I groaned and stood up, making my way to the dinner room in search of something to eat.
I wonder what my parents are up to.
Third person's POV
The moment she left the room, everywhere dazzled with green and blue glimmerings. The atmosphere radiated with a white gleamy aura - which could be predicted as something beyond the natural. As the aura slowly depleted, a symbol or rather a figure, glowed above the musical box. It was a strange symbol that only the greatest one could interpret it - an image of a winged girl with the scales of justice in her left hand, that had a glowing crown above her head. Almost like the Lady of Justice. The only difference was that something melanizing yet, glamorous engulfed the musical box as she reached out for it. She had purified some lingering dark energies from the box before blessing the table with different fruits. The satisfied blind Goddess then wore a sheepish grin, probably from the girl's first silly request, as others wished for fame, power and here, she was wishing for mere fruits.
