<<Minuet's POV>>

Danger.

My ears perked up and I could feel my lips twitching non stop in the middle of the night. It wasn't a good sign at all.

I tried ignoring it as an urge or hunger but the stupid feeling didn't want to go away.

"Isabelle Wintman...". A strange voice whispered thrice against the gentle breeze in the room.

No one needed to tell me what to do now.

But before I could even react, my master's body started shifting in a troubled way and before I knew it she was up.

"Whatever you do, do not...I repeat...do not listen to that voice". I hissed, not at her but at the invader lurking around the shadows. "It's a trap!".

"Voices". She kept repeating the same words over and over again, holding her head in a helpless manner. "So many...".

"Don't listen...don't obey". I pleaded, even though I knew she couldn't be easily brainwashed since she has the witch's gene, unless-

"Come forward".

Isabelle did what I least expected!

She removed her blanket from her body and slowly stood up from her bedside. I'm not crazy but it was exactly 12 midnight when this happened.

I can't believe they got into her head already.

That was so fast!

I knew she was hiding something.

What did Xander give her or say to her while they were away?!

"Isabelle, look at me!". I growled and held her hands firmly. "Snap out of it!".

When her eyes met mine, it was filled with nothing but goner and coldness which sort of scared me. Sooner or later, her eyes would be black, the jerk behind this would immediately know everything by then.

"Come Isabelle...come meet me outside". The voice went on.

Is this person blind or what?

I'm right here!

Her hands slid off from mine and she started walking towards the window like a zombie or someone who was hypnotized which she pretty was!

"Where are you going?!". I demanded and blocked her view. "I don't think I'd let you go this time".

"Must. Meet. Friend". She chanted and struggled in my arms to be freed but I tightened my grip on her and didn't let go of her.

Come. Meet. Friend?

Friend?!

At midnight?!

More like a hunter!

"Let Isabelle go!". She growled at me. The growl from her surprised me big time, and when I looked into her eyes, it wasn't Isabelle anymore. Oh no. Before I could react, the possessed girl bit in my arm.

Surprisingly that hurt big time.

What was she becoming?

A beast now??

I didn't want my beast side to come out now, no. I didn't want her to be scared again and I didn't want to hurt her too.

My fangs were already protruding and my claws were already out.

"Stay Isabelle!". I commanded. "Stay right here!".

"Must meet friend outside!". She started opening the windows one by one grinning coldly as the wind filled the room.
