Moving Day and Gender Reveal
_____________________________

For the last couple of days, Max had been helping Jessica pack up her side of their room into boxes, and she gained some hand me down clothes that didn't fit Jessica anymore. The girls stayed up late every night for the last week that Jessica was there and talked for hours.

They even pushed their beds together to help Jessica's back pain while Max offered to sleep on the floor. They spent quality time together, and Max sang to the unborn babies.

"I better be the first one Billy calls after you go into labour," Max mentioned one night while laying beside Jessica.

"You better be with me when I go into labour. I already have my bag packed just in case it happens early, but I'm not too sure that Billy knows what to do." Jessica laughed.

Max moved her head to Jessica's stomach and whispered, "I can't wait to meet you both."

As she whispered it, Jessica felt them both kick violently towards Max.

"I think they can't wait to meet you either. Here feel." Jessica grabbed Max's hand and guided her to where the babies were still kicking. "It seems as though every time that you speak to them, they give you that reaction. You're going to be the best aunt ever." Jessica whispered as she played with Max's hair while Max was laying next to her.

The day that Max had been dreading for months had finally come. Max knew that she was always welcome in the twin's new home, but it still felt weird to say she had her own bedroom.

The family helped the twins pack their boxes into the cars and drove off towards their new home. Since Jessica was far along in her pregnancy, she could only bring up small boxes.

Max helped her set up her new room and was excited when she saw that Jessica had purchased a trundle bed for when Max would sleep over and help out with the babies.

Jessica focused on decorating the apartment while Billy set up the furniture seeing as Jessica wasn't in the state to do that. Susan helped Billy set up as Max helped Jessica make sure that everything was organized and in a place that made sense.

Before Max had to leave for dinner with her mom, Jessica gave her a key to the apartment so that she could let herself in whenever she came over. The girls said goodbye to each other as Billy prepared dinner for the twins.

"Did you have to give her a key?" Billy asked as soon as the door was closed.

"Yes, she's our sister. Plus she's going to be alone with those monsters so might as well help her out." Jessica answered while rolling her eyes at the question.

"Fine. Now, are you extremely hungry or queasy just at the thought of food, so I know how much to make." Billy questioned getting started on pulling out supplies.

"Definitely queasy, I'm just going to lay down in my room and maybe call Steve," Jessica mentioned as she walked away before she could see Billy's scowl and hear his disapproval speech.

"Hang in there you only have two more months!" Billy yelled as Jessica left for her room.

Jessica laid on her back, thinking of what was to come next. They had finished high school last week, and Billy was going to start his lifeguarding job soon.

Jessica was still working at the local library and just started to work full-time until her maternity leave. She turned her head and looked at her bedside table that had an envelope with the babies genders in it.

A plan formed in her head and she started to call up her friends, Tommy, and her family. Next week they were throwing a gender reveal party.

Jessica had been planning for the gender reveal party all week long during her shifts at the library. She needed to distract herself from the back pains, and almost no one came into the library since school had just let out.

When the party felt as though they had nothing else better to do, they would drop by and help her. She had given the envelope to Max so that she didn't open it curiously one day.

Jessica had invited the party, Nancy, Jonathan, Hopper, Joyce, Robin, Steve,  Tommy, Carol, and her parents over for the reveal. The only two people that couldn't make it were her dad that had a "work event" and Dustin who had left for camp two days before.

The whole afternoon it seemed as though everyone stuck to there groups.
Jessica walked through and made sure to greet everyone and had just made it to the adult's section of the apartment.

"There's the woman of the hour," Hopper announced.

"Hey Hopper, how have you been? Caught bad guys yet?"

"No, my job turned boring since you're out of the picture."

Jessica laughed at his comment and shook her head, "Well, I'm going to have to set an example for my kids soon, so might as well start now."

Before Joyce could congratulate her, Tommy yelled across the room, drawing everyone's attention, "Let's get this over with I have places to be."

Jessica just rolled her eyes and walked over to the center of the room.

"Alright,  my sister Max has gone out and bought black balloons filled with either blue or pink glitter. Tommy, would you like to help me?"

Tommy scoffed at the girl but made his way over and grabbed one of the balloons.

On  a count of three, they both popped their balloon and saw that one had  blue glitter and the other had pink. Jessica was super excited and ran to hug Max.

"Oh my gosh. It's a girl and a boy!" She exclaimed while swaying Max.

"I know. It was so hard to keep it from you. Every time I saw you, I wanted to yell that you were getting one of each." Max laughed.

Everyone began to congratulate her, and relayed the same enthusiasm that she had. That night they played games and made small talk until slowly everyone had left.
