The Flayed part 1
__________________________

Everyone in the room began to scream out for someone to try and push the buttons as if it wasn't those that made the room drop in the first place. Jessica kept her eyes closed tightly in the corner while Dustin and Erica pushed every single button there was.

The fall only lasted a couple of seconds, and the first thing Jessica heard when they were safe was, "My groin. It fell on my groin. Dustin! Get this off of me."

Jessica stood up and checked on Jasper in Tommy's carrier and Violet in her own.

"Is everyone okay? Are they okay?" Robin shifted the conversation to Jessica as she got a head nod in response.

"Yeah, I'm great, now that I know that Russians can't design elevators!" Steve burst out.

"And you can't have any kids," Jessica mumbled.

"What?" Steve turned to face her, exasperated.

"Well, the box fell pretty hard on your groin," Jessica shrugged her shoulders while Dustin covered Erica's ears.

Steve scoffed at the girl that was trying to lighten the tension and turned back around to face the panel of buttons.

"I think we've clearly established that those buttons don't work," Robin said in a matter of fact tone.

"They're buttons. They have to do something." Anyone could tell that Steve was frustrated beyond belief as he turned back around once more to yell at Robin.

"Yeah, if we had a keycard." Robin pointed to the keycard slider on the side of the panel.

"A what?" Steve stared at the ground with his jaw clenched, waiting for Robin's answer.

"It's an electronic lock. Same as the loading dock door." Robin moved to where Steve was standing to show him what she was pointing at, "If we don't have a keycard, it won't operate, meaning-"

"We're stuck in here." Dustin breathed out in a panic.

"Gee, I wish you would've told us that before we got in," Tommy said sarcastically, aiming towards Robin.

"Yeah, well we didn't know that earlier, dipshit." Jessica clenched her teeth in anger before she did something she would regret.

"Just so you nerds are aware, I'm supposed to be spending the night at Tina's, and Tina always covers for me. But if I'm not home for Uncle Jacks' party tomorrow and my mom finds out you three are responsible, she's gonna hunt you down, one by one, and slit your throat." Erica made eye contact with everyone in the elevator, so she knew they were listening.
