Will the Wise part 1
_________________________

Jessica and the kids left the bathroom quickly yelling for Will. All of a sudden someone named Mrs. Byers showed up. Jessica thought she must've been Will's mother and wondered how she knew Will was gone.

She remembered that mother's seemed to have a type of feeling that something was wrong with their kid and wondered if she would soon have that.

A boy that she earlier found out was named Lucas snapped her out of her thoughts when he ran through the doors yelling, "The field!"

Everyone followed him through the double doors to the outside. Standing there was a kid that Jessica thought must be Will they were looking for, and Mike shaking him claiming he just found him like, that stood in the middle of a field.

"I think he's having another episode!"

Jessica watched as Mrs. Byers shook her son and tried to snap him out of whatever was going on with him.

It took her a while, but eventually, his eyes snapped open, and he gasped for breath.

All of them walked back through the building and out to the front of the school. Jessica didn't want to talk or ask a stupid question, scared that it would come off as insensitive.

"Okay, that totally freaked me out. Did that not freak you guys out?" Max was obviously more comfortable with her new friends and wanted to know what was going on.

"It freaked me out." Jessica agreed with her sister, protectively putting a hand on her shoulder.

Lucas ignored their comments and tried to get his friend's perspective on what was happening to Will. "Two episodes in two days."

Mike agreed that it was getting worse. Whatever that meant, Jessica had no clue what was going on.

"You think it's True Sight?"

"What's True Sight?" Max questioned, trying to get some information out of her friends.

"It's nothing."

Jessica felt frustrated for Max and didn't understand why she wanted to be in their party anyways.

Knowing that they weren't wanted anymore, Jessica told them it was nice to meet them, took Max's hand and started to head home.

"I have to pick up something from the store on the way home, and we can call Billy to pick us up there."

Jessica had a tough time falling asleep the night before thinking about what happened to Will and ignoring Max's questions about the pregnancy test they picked up.

She wasn't ready to admit what she did a second time unless there was a fetus in her uterus.

When she woke up, she didn't find the normal warm and gooey substance in her underwear that one would when they got their period.

A panicked feeling made its way into her heart while she ran to the bathroom with her pregnancy test.

Thankfully, her dad and step-mom had already left for work. To get her mind off of the stick that held her future, she made breakfast for her and her siblings.

The pregnancy test was developing in the bathroom in plain sight since Jessica didn't think that anyone would wake up until she got them up.

Unfortunately, she found out that wasn't the case when Billy yelled from the bathroom. "Jess, what the fuck is this shit?!"

Jessica's eyes grew in fear of what was about to happen. She turned around and saw Billy standing there, holding the pregnancy test.

Jessica felt sick to her stomach when she asked the question, "What does it say?"

"It's positive."

Tears watered in Jessica's eyes as reality crashed down on her. Billy started to ask questions trying to figure out whose it was and how she could be that careless.

He started to yell at her when he saw she was just staring at the floor. When he began to yell, he immediately felt bad when she jumped.

"It's Tommy's kid. When you left us at the party, he took me upstairs and didn't use a condom."

This answer made Billy furious more than anything.

"Tommy's kid?! I would even rather it be Harrington's."

"Trust me I rather it was his too." A sad and soft smile formed on her face just thinking about it.

"Damn it, Jess," Billy shouted and punched the wall behind him.

"I might not even be pregnant. I'll know in a few weeks when I take it again. It's too soon to actually tell."

"How could you have been this stupid?"

"Hey, I'm having a fucking baby. I just need someone to be there for me right now, and I don't think that's you. So why don't you leave, calm down, and come back later."

Jessica yelled at her brother, feeling as though he didn't quite understand how hard this was going to be for her.

When Billy looked at her closely, he saw the silent tears dripping down her face. He quickly softened at the sight and dropped his voice.

"Hey, I'm here for you, now, and always." He walked forward and engulfed her into a tight hug. Jessica squeezed him hard, not wanting to let go and face her problems.

"For now, you're going to act like you are pregnant just in case, okay? You're going to be careful and eat healthily." Billy reassured her that everything was going to be okay.

From all of the shouting, Max had woken up and didn't expect to walk out to see her older siblings hugging.

"Do I have to beat someone up for you?"

Max's comment made Jessica laugh while she shook her head. "No, just come give me a hug," Jessica opened one of her arms pulling Max in.

Even though Billy and Max typically hated each other's guts, they hugged each other, knowing that their sister needed it.

"The omelette is burning."
