The Case of the Missing Lifeguard part 1
____________________________

Steve gave Jesica a ride to El's house after his shift. The whole car ride Dustin ranted about how it was unfair that Jessica got to hang out with them when the whole party should be included. Jessica didn't care that much since she just wanted to have a girls night.

When Steve pulled up to the chief's house, the group could see El's light on and a shadow dancing inside.

"Maybe we should stop in for a second to say hi," Steve suggested.

"No, but thanks for the ride." Jessica got out of the car and headed towards the cabin.

She walked into El's room to find the song 'Angel' playing with Max dancing around the room and El sitting on her bed looking through the magazines Max had brought.

The girls greeted her with a hug and went back to doing what they were before as Jessica sat across from El on the bed.

"Oh, you found Ralph Macchio." Max kneeled on the ground and leaned on the bed.

"He's hot," Jessica mentioned as she laid back on her elbows.

"Macchio?" El questioned with her eyebrows going up.

"Yeah, he's the Karate Kid. Hai-yah!" Max swung her arm down to make El laugh.

"I bet he's an amazing kisser, too," Max stated as El widened her eyes having not talked about anything like that before. "Hey, uh, is Mike a good kisser?"

A light tint of pink dusted across El's cheeks at the question, "I don't know. Is Steve a good kisser?" El looked over at Jessica as she got the focus off of her.

"How should I know?" Jessica propped herself up on El's pillows.

"Aren't you dating?" El's eyebrows furrowed, and her head tilted to the side.

Max laughed at El as she knew Jessica's feelings for Steve.

"No, but considering he hooked up with a bunch of people during his phase, I would say he's probably a decent kisser." Jessica shrugged as though the thought didn't keep her up at night.

"Oh my god, he's such a great kisser, right?" Steve pitched his voice up, trying to imitate a girl and walked in with Dustin.

"Oh my god, so good. Who are we talking about?" Dustin played along.

Jessica rolled her eyes at the boys she had told to leave.
