The Flayed part 3
_________________________

The group sprang up from kneeling on the floor to walking with a sense of purpose down the long hallway again. They all began lightly jogging down the hallway to make up for any lost time.

It took about an hour and a couple of breaks for the teens, so nobody broke their back jogging with a baby. They found some more red cars rolling around on the floor, making deliveries.

They would've been caught if it wasn't for Robin pointing out that it sounded like there was one about to roll right past them. Quickly the group squeezed into a small space next to some tubes and behind what seemed to be an electrical box.

"Okay, clear. Clear, come on, let's go." Steve whispered as he got out of the hiding space.

"Okay, that was close." Robin followed him.

"Too close," Dustin commented.

"That can't happen again." Jessica nodded, slightly jogging to get back in her place next to Steve.

"Relax. Alright? Relax. Nobody saw..." Steve trailed off, and as Jessica was asking what was wrong, she saw the whole Russain base.

The group stood gaping at the scene before them and took it all in. Before Jessica could comment on the Russians holding huge guns, she was being dragged down into a crouching position behind a large metal container.

"How did no one see us? We stood there for so long." Jessica mumbled next to Steve.

"Red Dawn," Dustin lazily made a movie connection to their situation.

"I saw it. First floor, northwest." Erica harshly whispered to the teens.

"Where the fuck is northwest?" Jessica turned back to look at the base.

"Saw what?" Steve tried to understand what was going through Erica's little head.

"The comms room," Erica pushed further towards Steve so she wouldn't have to whisper so much.

"You saw the comms room?" Steve glanced back and wondered how the hell she was so observant.

"Correct," Erica was getting annoyed at how little faith they had in her.

"Are you sure?" Dustin questioned her from behind.

"Positive. The door was open for a second, and I saw a bunch of lights and machines and shit in there." Erica explained to the group.
