"Meadows..." he repeated what I said.

That's the name of the condo I am staying with my brothers. Nasa kotse niya na kami.

This is the second time I actually ride in his car.

"Gavin, nakakaabala na ko sa'yo." sabi ko rito.

"It's okay. Your place is not too far from where I live." he said.

"Where?"

"OPR Residence." tipid rin nitong sagot habang nagmamaneho.

Magkalapit nga lang ang condo namin. Ang pagitan lang ay ang freedom park sa harapan ng condo, then OPR Residence na.

Napatingin ito sa wrist watch.

"Are you not hungry?" he asked.

"Are you?" I returned the question to him.

"I am the one asking questions and you answered me with the same question." he complained.

I chuckled then answered, "Hindi pa naman. But if you want to eat, we can drop by somewhere to buy or eat."

"What do you want?"

"Hmmm. Kahit ano?" I replied.

"There's no such food called kahit ano in any restaurants."

I laughed. He's face was serious when he said that but I laugh so hard.

"What?" he asked. Confused on my reaction.

"Nothing." I answered. Still laughing.

"What do you want?" he asked again.

"Sa Meadows na lang tayo kumain." suggestion ko.

Tumango ito.

Sa restaurant sa ground floor ng Meadows. That is one of Kuya Maze's restaurant.

Pagpasok namin ay sinalubong kami ni Merlin. Siya ang General Manager ng branch na ito.

"Good evening, Miss Russell, good evening Sir." ngiting bati nito sa amin.

Maraming tao pero may mga vacant seats pa naman. May lumapit na isang crew.

"Please prepare the reserved room 4 for Miss Russell." utos nito sa crew na mabilis ko lang na pinigilan.

"No need, Merlin. Doon na lang kami. Turo ko sa bakanteng table sa may window."

"O-okay po."

"So this restaurant is yours?" Gavin asked me after settling in our dining table.

"No, kay Kuya Maze."

Tumangu-tango ito. Nagsimula na kaming pumili ng oorderin sa menu.

Lumapit ang isang crew sa amin at sumenyas ako kay Gavin na siya na ang maunang mag-order.

"Baby Back Ribs and Greek Salad." he said to the crew.

"Roast beef and Caesar Salad, please. Thank you."

Inulit nito ang mga order namin saka umalis.

Nakatingin ito sa cellphone nito. Busy.

Nakakapanibago ang mood niya ngayong araw na ito.

Napangiti ako. Sakto naman na nag-angat ito ng ulo at nakita ako.

"What?" he asked.

Umiling ako, pero nangingiti pa rin. Hindi ko mapigilan. Naalala ko rin kasi yung pag-pout niya.

"What are you up to, young lady." sabi nito na tila natatawa rin.

"Wala nga, Gavin! Promise!"

"Am I a clown?" he asked.
