Nightmare

Umikot ikot ako sa salamin habang sukat ang damit na isusuot  bukas sa graduation ni Cevi. Tama nga siya. BIM have it first and after three days ay sa Southville naman. I heard the girls sigh in exaggerated ways and saw their rolling eyes in the mirror.

"Yan! Kahit pag ikot ng mata di niyo man lang itatago. Ambastos niyo ah!"
Turo ko sa kanilang dalawa.

Sharah check her nails. "I told you she'll gonna overact on her new damit."

"Darn. Your tongue Sharah." Ngiwi ni Nesha.

"What's wrong with my tongue ba? Does it look bad?"

"That tongue should fight someone's tongue." She pointed.

Sharah's eyes widened and her cheeks painted in red. Palihim akong ngumiti as I saw how she gulps uncomfortably.

"Oh my God! Why are you saying such things!" Sharah hysterically throw Nesha a pillow.

"Nah. You did more than that. I'm proud for you."

"Ano?!"

Hindi ko mapigilang manahimik sa harap ng salamin. Naiinis akong tumingin kay Sharah. She covered her face with the pillow at kinuha ko yun at tinapon sa sahig.

"Nagpajugjug ka na?!"

Mas lalong lumaki ang mata niya "Oh my God! Leave me alone you freak pervert!" Tinulak niya ako.

"Darn. I'm stuck in nosy place." Nesha murmur.

Sabay kaming namili ng damit na susuotin namin para bukas. Nesha and Sharah will be there too since Luther is one of the honor student. It'll be a big day kaya sunod sunod ang pagsikip ng dibdib ko nitong nakaraan.. Napawi ang ngiti ko ng pagmasdan ang damit. In three days..

"Is everything fine?" Nesha tap my shoulder.

"Oo naman." I smiled. "Aalis ka ba talaga pagkatapos na pagkatapos ng grad?"

She nod. "Of course. I need to make money."

Nitong mga nakaarang araw iniiwasan na naman ang magsinungaling sa isa't isa. I open up to him everything from the start of my day until I close my eyes and it's a vice versa. Though I feel a little weird ay ipinagkibit balikat ko na lamang ito. Like what Ash said, I couldn't let him sad in his leaving. Amputa. Masakit pala kahit tanggap mo na.

"Will you be fine?" Ani niya muli.

I bit my lips and nod. Bumuga ako ng hangin ng sumikip ang dibdib ko.

"I have to. Babalik naman yun." I positively said.

"Separate in good terms, so there's still a reason to come back."

"Ang weird mo alam mo ba yun?" Umiwas lang siya ng tingin. "Wala akong balak na sirain ang mga nalalabing araw Nesh. Yun nalang ang meron ako." Pilit akong ngumiti.

I saw pain in her eyes. "I hope I accept it that way." She continue. "I never got the chance to accept it, you know."

Hinawakan ko ang kamay niya. "Darating ba siya?"

"I don't know. But that's a no for sure."

Naghiwalay kaming tatlo. We wave at each other bago tinungo ang sarili naming mga kotse. I noticed, wala na yata ang dating bodyguard ni Sharah? It's replaced by someone that is nearly age at our Dad.

Nagdrive ako pauwi at kumanta kasabay ng stereo. The Eternal Love of MLTR is my mood for tonight. I slowly bang my head and slightly tap my fingers on the steering wheel. Hindi naman ako malungkot. Hindi talaga ako nalulungkot. Iniliko ko ang manibela pakanan.
