• as you've seen, irene and rosie are the mothers of the group but of course, being the maknae, she needs to be babied by her. she acts as the oldest daughter of irene because she also helps looking after the other members and listens well to her. they both love each other a lot and you can see that when they look at each other with such loving eyes. they dont show physical affection a lot when they are in public but when they do, fans go crazy when irene backhugs her or when rosie leans her head on her shoulder.

• a love-hate relationship when it comes to these two. dont get me wrong, they dont actually hate each other but when they bicker, it becomes a war. they love to fight over small things for fun and annoy other members. seulgi can also be clingy to rosie, which rosie doesnt mind at all. they show a lot of physical affection in public. rosie loves teasing seulgi for doing things she normally wouldn't do on shows. they regularly go to dance practice together to improve their skills and learn new choreographies for fun.

• the reason i emphasise the close part of their sister-like relationship is because unlike with seulgi, rosie and wendy are very affectionate to each other and hardly argue or bicker. they would always have a talk about their problems and rosie would take in wendy's advice. they trust each other a lot. wendy always knows how to make rosie laugh no matter what situation they are in and rosie loves this about her. fans also know that they constantly share clothes and bags, as well as having couple items.

• one of the most popular ships of red velvet. the two are fashion icons in the industry. they are so clingy with each other and are always seen close to each other. joy loves to flirt jokingly with rosie and it makes rosie laugh. they often talk about their new clothes and fashion items and show them off to each other. due to joy's height, they are both the tallest members of the group so they always tease the smaller members. they joke around a lot, even on award shows, you can see how goofy they are compared to other idols. all the girls are very very close to rosie but joy is the most close to her. she was the first person she met when she joined sm and trained secretly together as hidden members.

• the two maknaes. rosie and yeri are the mischievous pair in the group. they love pulling pranks on their older unnies. yeri and rosie actually first met in sopa, before rosie joined sm. rosie didnt have any friends because she was shy but yeri, who was already very popular since she was part of the red velvet lineup, spotted her and thought she was really pretty and wanted to be friends with her. eventually yeri got through to rosie and when she told yeri she was going to be a sm trainee, they both freaked out. they both trained hard to be added to the new group and always cheered for each other. the two were a popular duo in school. both of them like to write and produce songs so they always help each other with it.
