The coronation day was overall a joyful occasion. The party afterward was just as fantastic. There was a lot of dancing and laughter; I honestly had the best time ever. Of course, getting to dance with Artie was the highlight of it all. He looked so handsome, and I couldn't stop smiling at him, which he noticed right away.

"I'm guessing you're happy for me." He said.

"Of course," I laughed. "You've come so far, and I can't wait to experience everything with you."

"Not long until you'll officially be my queen," he whispered, lifting my chin up to kiss me.

I didn't think that time would go that quickly, but I was so wrong. It was if I blinked and a month had passed. At some points, it was overwhelming, having to learn and prepare for royal life. I did get some hate from several people who didn't believe I was fit to be queen because of who I was, causing me to doubt myself from time to time. However, I'm glad Artie and the others were there to reassure me and keep my spirits up.

So, the big day finally arrived. My combined wedding/ coronation. I couldn't stop my hands from shaking. Luckily, Isabel was on hand to keep me calm, while Merida and Lucy helped me get ready. I had my hair curled and put into a fancy low ponytail.

I went for a soft look for my makeup, nothing too bold, of course. My dress had been specially custom made for the occasion, and when I saw it for the first time, I was speechless. It was a long slash collar gown which had a royal blue skirt. The top half was white with gold embroidery stitched into it, creating this stunning pattern on the front.

"Merida, are you crying?" I asked.

"N-no," she whimpered. " I just got something in eye; that's all."

"Uh-huh, sure there is," Lucy chuckled.

"You look so beautiful, Katie," Isabel said with glee.

"You all look great, too," I added. "Your bridesmaid's dresses look amazing."
