~Y/n's POV~

Unfortunately for me, the bathroom wasn't empty like I left it.

"Gahh! Y/n!" Jay exclaimed, pulling the shower curtain in front of him.

I screamed in reply.

"What the hell are you doing in here?!"

"I-uh-sorry! I'm leaving now!"

I bolted out of there as fast as possible, shielding my eyes to try and unsee what I had just witnessed. I may have experienced a lot more than I should have at my age, but I didn't need to observe that.

"Y/n! How did you even get in there? The door was locked!" Jay yelled as he staggered out of the bathroom in a towel.

"It—uh—wasn't bolted properly! And you should really close the curtain—nobody wants to see that, not even Nya!"

"Hey! Leave Nya out of this," he said, crossing his arms.

"Leave me out of what?"

"Y/n walked in on me while I was in the shower!"
"Not on purpose," I clarified, keeping my voice at a normal level to not make this a big deal.

Nya just laughed at the whole scenario, and I joined in. Jay huffed and stomped back to his room to put some clothes on.

"Y/n! Where were you for the last hour?" I heard Lloyd call as he approached me.

"I was, um, going for a walk."

"Aw, why couldn't I come?"

"Because you hate walks."

"Yeah, I know, but I'm sick of training."

I rolled my eyes. "How else are you going to reach your full potential?"

He shrugged. "I was hoping that it would just magically happen."

"That's not how it works," I said, swatting the back of his head.

He laughed, then rubbed his head. "Ouch. You're stronger than you look."

I stuck my tongue out at him.

"Lloyd!! Get up here!" Cole shouted from above deck. I guessed it was his turn to train Lloyd.

"You should probably go," I said. "Cole doesn't seem like he's in a patient mood today."

"Yikes," Lloyd muttered. "If that's the case, maybe we should ask Zane to make dinner. I know that it's Cole's night, but I don't want to risk him setting the kitchen on fire again."

"Good point. Although, it was Zane's turn yesterday... maybe I'll cover for him instead."

"Lloyd!"

"I better go," Lloyd said. "I'll help you with dinner as soon as I'm able."

I waved goodbye then headed for the kitchen. I wasn't in the mood to make anything extravagant, so I pulled the container of dried pasta out of the cupboard. Ripple appeared beside me as I started filling up a big pot of water, but I didn't see her right away.

"Gah!" I exclaimed once I noticed her. "You scared me."

"Sorry," she giggled. "You know, y/n, I've been meaning to talk to you about something."

"Oh?" I mumbled as I transferred the now-full pot of water onto the stove.

"It's about Lloyd."

"Okay, what is it?"

"I'm just gonna say it: I think you should tell him the truth."

I poured the pasta into the pot and turned on the stove. "The truth about what?"

"About your miraculous, you idiot."

I sighed. "I don't know if that's a good idea."

"He's your best friend. It's not that big of a deal at the moment, but eventually, you're not gonna be around so much. You might even have to stay in Paris for good."

I put the lid on the pot, then went hunting for some spices. "Don't worry, I'll tell him when the time comes."

...

2 years later

...

"Y/n! Get away from him!" Kai yelled over the wind, trying to hold me back.

"No!" I screamed. "I'm not losing him!"

As soon as I managed to break free from his hold, I ran directly into the swirling wind. I had to block my face with hands in order to see through the dust storm, but I kept moving forward despite the cyclone's increasing strength.

I managed to make it to Lloyd, who was on his knees and grasping the sides of his face.

"Get out of my head!" he shouted.

I could hear the rest of the ninja calling to me, telling me to get away from. I heard them say we couldn't trust him while he's under Morro's possession, but I ignored their warnings; Lloyd couldn't fight this battle on his own.

"Lloyd, listen to me!" I said. "You can't let him win! Block him out!"

The resistance against himself suddenly stopped; Morro had taken over. Lloyd's hair turned black, and his skin became slightly transparent. I reached for his hand, wanting to tell him not to give up, but he ripped his arm away.

"You better run, little girl," Morro said, his voice sickening.

I stood my ground. "I know you're still in there, Lloyd!"

I felt a spike of fear as the winds surrounding us picked up speed, but I refused to move. Lloyd's feet lifted off the ground and his eyes began to glow, which made the cyclone roar even louder and faster. It took all my strength to stay grounded.

"Lloyd, fight him!"

The next thing I knew, a ghostly light burst from Lloyd. I felt like the world was moving in slow motion as the glow reached my hands, which were covering my face. The radiation burned like hell, and I realized that if the light spread to the rest of my body, I would surely die.

I didn't have time to get out of the way, so in a desperate attempt to survive, I reached for my miraculous, and tapped it three times.

~a/n~

I just realized I ended the last three chapters with y/n tapping her miraculous... I swear that wasn't on purpose. Well, anyway... thanks for reading my fanfiction trash.
