Lloyd's POV

After trudging along the scorching hot ground for hours, we finally reached an oasis. All 13 of us sat down around the edge of the pool of water, and rested there for a bit.

"This is taking forever," Jay complained. "I was hoping we'd at least have a clue of where to find a dragon by now."

"Hey, Entrapta, do you have any—uh, Entrapta?" Y/n asked, but when we turned to her, she wasn't there.

"Uh... where'd she go?" I asked.

My question was answered as we heard Entrapta talking into her voice log—it sounded like she was behind one of the rocks. Y/n and I went around either side of the boulder, and saw the strange girl taking samples of the dirt.

"What are you doing?" Y/n wondered.

"I'm so glad you asked! I'm currently running tests on the soil to determine if there was some sort of animal waste left here. Then I'll know what species live in this area."

"Uh... okay... did you find anything?"

"Not yet, but based on the healthy growth of plants around here, I'm guessing my theory is correct."

"Would you be able to tell if a dragon had stopped here?" I asked.

"Absolutely!"

"Great! Let us know if you find anything."

—————???'s POV—————

My brother and I were flying above the Crimson Waste on our dragons, searching for the warriors that we witnessed freeing one of the beasts.

"There they are!" I called, pointing down at the oasis. "Let's make a landing."

My brother and I guided our dragons to the ground. The group of people resting there all looked shocked, and some of them drew weapons.

"Whoa, whoa," I said. "We're not here to hurt anyone."

"Who are you?" a girl with short blue hair asked.

I lifted up my visor. "We're dragon riders. We saw all of you freeing that dragon back in that village over there."

The strangers exchanged glances with each other.

"What's it to you?" the boy in red asked.

"We do the same thing," my brother explained. "We free dragons from the hunters."

"We were just wondering if you'd be interested in joining our team," I said. "We could really use some warriors like you."

"Warriors," the girl with glasses said. "I like the sound of that."

"As much as we'd like to help, we're kind of already on a mission," the blonde boy in the black shirt said. "We're trying to get home."

"We're from a different world," the girl in the yellow jacket said. "I mean, isn't it obvious? These designer shoes are not meant for walking through the desert."

"Where are you from?" my brother asked.

"Earth," some of them said, while others said "Ninjago." The girl with purple hair didn't say anything at all.

"Earth," I repeated. "That's bridged to our home realm."

"Wait, you're not from Etheria, either?" the boy in white asked.

"Nope. We're from the Hidden World—it's a realm that branches off from planet Earth. Time works differently there; we've been living there for hundreds of years."

I took a step back in surprise as the purple-haired girl made a high-pitched shrieking noise. She leaped towards me, and grasped at my shoulders.

"You've discovered a world that is capable of sustaining life forms for multiple centuries?!" she asked.

"Entrapta, leave her alone!" one of the girls said, pulling her friend by the pigtails. "You need to let people have their space."

"But, y/n—"

"No buts," the girl—y/n—said, then she turned to us. "Sorry about Entrapta. She's still getting used to having other people around, apparently."

"Don't worry about it," I assured them. "I'm Zephyr, by the way. Zephyr Haddock."

I don't know what I'm doing... at this point, I'm just throwing in random characters and hoping for the best. Sorry for all the randomness.
