—————-Nya's POV—————

"Come on," y/n said from the other side of the boulder. "We're taking you home."

"Stand back," Cole said, then he used his superstrength to push the rock we were using as our door out of the way.

As soon as we were all out of the cave, a terrifying roar echoed through the sky.

"It's back," Carapace muttered.

Y/n shrieked as a blast of ice came shooting at her. "What, so it's got ice powers now too?!"

I squinted and looked up at the clouds, and noticed a dragon floating through them. Lightning pulled through its body, and i could see flames spurting out of its mouth.

"Have you met him before?" Kai asked y/n and Carapace.

"Not him, her," Marinette corrected. "Don't you guys remember the story on the wall? According to legend there's one dragon who possesses all elements. That's Firstbourne up there, mother of dragons."

"Thanks for the history lesson, but I think it's time to get out of here," y/n said. "Hurry, everyone grab onto each other."

Before the two heroes could tap their miraculouses, a bolt of lightning struck y/n. Everyone screamed as she collapsed and her costume disappeared. She looked stunned as Lloyd caught her before she slammed her head into the ground, but she was still awake.

"Are you okay?!" he asked.

"Yeah, I'm... I'm fine," she replied, dumbfounded.

With a confused expression, she reached up towards the shell in her hair and pulled it down to look at it.

"It's broken," she said, panic rising in her voice. "It saved me somehow, but it's broken."

"It must have absorbed the shock," Cole said. "But if your miraculous is damaged, how are we going to get back? Carapace can't take us all on his own."

"I don't understand," Chloe said. "I thought miraculouses are indestructible?"

"On Earth, maybe they are, but this is one of the first realms ever created, and that dragon is one of the first beings ever to live," Alya said. "Firstbourne is probably more powerful than all the miraculouses combined."

"Should I go back and tell the others what happened?" Carapace asked.

"No," y/n said. "You're still new at this; I don't want you wasting your energy. Cole, notify Zane about the current situation."

As Cole did that, I heard a faint clashing sound behind me. I turned around, and there were two people fighting in the distance—one was eight feet tall with a giant glowing sword, and the other looked like she was half cat. I nudged Kai, and gestured to the two strangers.

"What do you think, are they bad or good?" I asked him.

"I dunno, but by the looks of it, they seem to be on opposite sides."

"Yeah," I said. "Maybe we should ask them for directions or something—they might know where we can find a place to stay for a bit."

"Well, we don't have much to lose," Kai said, then turned to the others. "We'll be right back!"

The two of us pulled our hoods over our faces and ran towards the girls. The closer we got, the more apparent it became about who had noble intentions. The cat hybrid girl was playing dirty, so she obviously wasn't someone we wanted to take advice from. The tall girl, on the other hand, wasn't trying to hurt her opponent, even though she was clearly  capable of causing a lot of damage.

"Give up already," the cat girl said. "Even if I don't take you down, the rest of my gang will come and finish you off."

"I'm not letting you take over another section of the Crimson Waste!" the giantess replied. "There are innocent people in these parts! They don't deserve this."

"They're dragon hunters! They're used to this kind of thing."

"Uh... excuse me?" I asked. "Sorry to interrupt, but we were wondering if—"

"Shut it, kid, we're busy," the cat girl hissed.

"Kid? I am not a kid!"

I used my powers to draw water out from the air, and blasted it at her. The other girl stared at me in shock.

"You're a Princess?"

"What? No, I'm a ninja," I said. "Now, tell us where the closest settlement is."
