This chapter's for all the Catradora shippers out there XD

(Don't get your hopes up—it was really late when I wrote this so it's probably gonna be trash)

————-Catra's POV————-

"Where did they go?" I demanded, racing over to the hall Double Trouble went down.

"I don't know," y/n said. "They just... vanished."

I let out a flustered sigh. "Great, now we've got a shape shifter on the loose. There's no way we'll ever find them!"

"We'll just have be wary of any suspicious people," Scorpia said. "Come on, we should go join the—oh, shoot! I'm supposed to be guarding the pass right now! Bye, guys!"

I watched as Scorpia ran down the halls to start her shift. I would have loved to have something to do, but Hordak didn't even know I was back yet. So instead, I turned to y/n.

"Hey, you wanna go train, or something?" I asked. "I've got nothing better to do, anyway."

She raised an eyebrow, but then she smiled. "Sure."

"Uh... why are you looking at me like that?" I asked.

"No reason," she said quickly. "I'm just glad to see you have a soft side."

"What?! I am not soft!"

Y/n laughed. "It was a compliment, Catra!"

I frowned and folded my arms.

"Come on, let's go," y/n said, grabbing me by the wrist. "You can teach me how you fight in the Horde."

I sighed, but I didn't pull away. Y/n had referred to me as a friend while we were talking to Double Trouble, and... I guess I liked that.

"Y/n! Where were you?" Lloyd immediately asked once we entered the training room. The six of us were the only ones in here.

"I, uh... went to the bathroom," she lied, gazing at the wall of weapons. She picked up a shock gun. "What's this?"

"Be careful, that's—ah!"

I didn't stop her fast enough—she pulled the trigger and electrocuted me.

"Sorry! Sorry," she immediately said, then helped me off the ground. "Are you okay?"

"I'll live," I grumbled. "No more touching something you've never seen before, okay?"

She nodded, and grabbed a staff off the rack. "This doesn't shock people, too, does it?"

"Nope," I said, talking one too. "But it will sting if you hit someone hard enough."

"Good to know," she said, then got into a fighting stance. "You ready?"

"You're going down," I taunted.

"Ha! Yeah, right!"

We fought for a bit, but we actually seemed pretty evenly matched. We each landed a hit on each other a couple times, but neither of us had a major falter.

"So," y/n said, staring up a conversation. "What's the deal with you and Adora?"

"Huh?" I wondered. My heart skipped a beat at the mention of Adora's name.

"Scorpia told me stories of the battles between the Horde and the rebels. She said you always go after She-Ra alone, but why? I highly doubt that you could take down an eight-foot tall legendary warrior by yourself."
